When you say you left the country you mean you left your country & entered the US?

Hello,
Long story short, was married to USC in 2008, she died on the day of interview... 3 weeks after that I left the country, never came back.. Few months later her daughter informed me that I was in removal proceedings, ( I left, handed out I-90 arrival/departure white card at the airport, hope it is enough) I was surprised, thinking case will close right after I leave the US. Now, 10 years later my US wife and I are thinking of applying for IR-1 visas. Is it worth it to try? Am I eligible for the benefit? We live in EU low fraud country.thanks ahead.

Sorry I forgot to mention, yes I am legally divorced. Few years ago she (daughter 2nd wife) sent me divorce papers to sign. Later on I got divorce certificate. Also my now partner/fiancée lives with me and she is US citizen.

To whom it may concern,
make it short. Here it the situation: in 2008 I come to US on B1/B2 visa, after few months I married a woman, she petitioned for me than she got sick (cancer) and in the mean time she has died. (On the day of our interview with USCIS. Her comes tricky part, my wife had at that time 20 years old daughter (mentally unstable/ill) she (daughter) took my passport hide it and told me that she is not gonna let me go. (I know now was stupid, could have go to embassy and apply for new one…). I was ready to leave United States. So in order to get my passport back I married her 2 weeks after death of her mother. I told her it has no any sense to do so. I will not be able to get GC with marring her nor I did´t want to. She won't listen to me. She gave me my passport back and I left US. In 6 weeks after death of my wife (mother) ,simply I had to escape from the house while she (daughter) was at work. I am pretty sure she petitioned for me also.
Now 10 years later I am in relationship with US woman who lives here in Bratislava (Slovakia) with me. Yesterday we where talking together about our future. If we stay here or we would go to US. I said, that would be very difficult form me to legally immigrate to US. Am I right? Simply are there any chances for me to get US immigration visa or not?

So, did you get the correct one?
Possible problem with IR-1 application.
