We're planning on moving and I guess we have to file change of address. However, I've read a lot of stories when USCIS keeps mailing their notices and even green cards to the old address by mistake or just because they are slow on interaction even within the organization so that the new address is not put in effect yet. Since time of adjudication is very close for us and we are happening to move at the same time, we are also going to request a forwarding service to our new address just in case. Does anyone know by chance if USPS forwards USCIS letters. I read contradictory information. Do they send with certified mail? All letters or only green cards?
I sent the change of address directly to CSC by mail and I also did it online. CSC sent me an email confirmation about the change of address very quickly. I sent it next day because I wanted them to update it as soon as possible. I receive all the notice and my green card without an issue.

12/20/2017 12:40pm E-mail and Text alert: we ordered your new card for Receipt number xxx...and we mail it to you... Waited 16 months and 5 days
12/29/2017 Receive letter saying that I was approved and GC for 10 years on the mail
The process was so slow that I thought I was going insane for moments, but I'm glad is over. This forum was the best thing I found, you guys are amazing! Thanks for sharing your experiences!
Happy New Year!

I went to a InfoPass appoitment today at Oakland Park FL . I got stamp for one year. Nothing new. Process still pending.
It's the normal processing time according to the official, since they are handling the triple of applications than they used to do before. The normal processing time for I-751 is 14months-18months, maybe 2 years. He adviced that if I not hear any news in 6 months. I should go back for another InfoPass.

It took you 2 months to make an appointment? Wow, insane. It took me 10 seconds, maybe because I made it at 3AM. Yes, people are getting approved, but kind of slowly. I don't expect to be approved until 6 months from now at the 400 interview, but it is good to at least know what is going on with my 751. Fingers crossed.
Yes, it is insane. I checked for appoitment at any time, midnight, during the morning, afternoon, night , 4am and no luck at all. Finally I got one.

Looks like the majority of the early August filers have been approved except me and a few here and there and a number of applicants that applied for 400 even though there aren't that many early August filers listed here. I have made an info pass appointment with my field office in Los Angeles on the 29th of this month, my 751 will probably be outside the normal processing times in 2 weeks. Not sure how much more I can find out, but it is worth a try. A friend of mine got lucky at a field office in NY, upon the 751 inquiry, the field office director actually told him to come back for an interview with his spouse while his 400 was pending, and he got his 751 approved the next day after the interview, not saying it is going to happen to me, but who knows? USCIS is highly unpredictable, and I got nothing to lose by making an info pass appointment before the year ends after waiting for my 751 nearly 17 months. Maybe at least they can confirm what is going on with my 751 as to whether it is being combined or what have you. I got nothing to lose by going to my filed office anyway.
I also have my Infopass on Monday 18th and let's see what happen. It took me more than 2 months to get an appoitment. 21 applicants are still pending from the list (without counting the ones who filled N-400) so basically 22 approved and 21 pending...I'm happy to see people getting approved....slowly but surely. That means we'll get approve soon

My wife's NOA was 08/15/2016. I just checked her case status and saw this "On December 12, 2017, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number WACxxxxxxxxxxx, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
it was a long wait but don't give up guys.
Congratulations! This message gives me hope!!! My NOA is 08/15/2016

I just think this data of processing time from visajourney is wrong. There is no way they are checking on September 29, 2016 when August people are dying here...
I checked on the I-751 September 2016 fillers and VSC is approving like a PRO.
I also checked the Fiscal Year 2017 4th quarter, it was update on 12/07/2017:
I-751
Received: 166,431
Approved: 89,001
I know is not good news but I'm just trying to figure it out what is going on.

I'm also new here and I can see most of you know each other for a long time and that's nice because you been together the whole process. I get very excited every time I got a notification, because I'm thinking somebody got approved. Let's not be rude and support each other even if you got the GC.
Ambition19 you're not alone. I'm also still waiting. Let's be positive, we'll receive good news this week!

You will need to forward your mail anyways to the new address. I mean you can change the address everywhere individually, but it always good to forward all your mail with the post office because you never know. I did forward my mail with post office and also signed for Informed Delivery (free), where you can see whats going to be deliver to your mail box.
