Hello yes I emailed NVC and told them I needed to cancel my interview as I was waiting for the response of my i601a. I also emailed the US consulate of juarez since the case was with them.

No i Wasn’t asked anything about it. I just showed it to them and they said they had it in their system. But she did want to look at the original.

I understand completely! I hope all goes well! Just make sure to answer everything correctly as you stated i saw some get turned down because they would answer differently to what they stated 

I was too but don’t be just make sure you take every paperwork in case! I got my antecedentes no penales here in juarez very quick my hotel dropped me off! The process was quick and straightforward 

Hello everyone!! Just an update! Today was my interview and I was approved! Everything went very well!!

Hey everyone I got my approval!! There was a bit of bumps but i got it! 11/15/17 receipt approval 5/11/2018.
it was returned in the first week of April. They were asking for more evidence we submitted the evidence requested which was my husbands surgery day. We sent it in lst week and got an approval this week.

The screenshot is to say that you can send it all in and they will not schedule the interview like some lawyers say. Mine was all done before hand. I stopped my interview to do my i601A. You have to ask your lawyer if it was sent or you can check yourself on the nvc website

For those with questions yes you can do your NVC Ds260 at the same time as your i601a!!! It is a faster process to do so as the NVC does take 11wks to process! And another 11 if it needs an extra paper they need mailed.

The i601 is in that time frame but the i601A is the 4/6 month time frame. You have to see if they applied for the i601 which is when they are abroad and i601a is for when they are here in the U.S

Me either. Im scared to live in a country that I know nothing of. I’m glad i did the waiver and hopefully it gets approved soon enough.

Yes you need to sending the DS260 before you can make any appointments. And you should make the medical and biometrics appointment after they gave you your appointment at ciudad juarez to be able to coordinate all your appointments around the same time. I dont know why your lawyer did not tell you that or do that for you. 

Hii everyone just wanting to share my progress as this forum helped me as well. On Nov9 2017 we sent our i601A they have the   receipt marked on Nov16 and we recieved this letter on Nov29. On Dec 4th we received the letter for biometrics for next week on Dec14.
