  1. Just starting this thread for those who went to  the Interview in Islamabad. So we can all share stories. And I wanted to get an idea of how long people are lasting in AP.

Here is me: interview was feb.28 2018. My wife is a USC. was given  white paper to submit missing paper. I submitted papers 3 weeks after interview. I have updated 2 times I'm still on AP. I want to know about you guys. Also please include how many times you have updated if any. thank you all.

My husband had his interview March 1st and he had to submit new passport photos. We sent them the next week. From the time they received the photos it took one week for them to issue the visa.

I don’t know why it takes longer for some cases. I hope you get the visa soon 😊

Thank you. I don't understand why it's taking so long. We haven't even updated. :(

Does anyone know how we could possibly Schedule a 2nd Interview????

  4. Hey all. So I had my interview back in February in Islamabad Pakistan. They didn't ask that many questions less than 4 actually.  They kept my passport.  They asked me for a document that took about a month to get to them. Also I feel the paper they asked me for was not Necessary but that's another story!

Now my question is anyone in this boat with me? I want to know after long after submitting documents did you hear back from them? And is there a possibility that they give me passport with a visa on it or could they maybe ask for more things. Oh sorry by the way we are doing Spouse visa cr1. We have 2 kids together. No age difference. Thank you all in advance for any help or comments.

If you already covered the most fees, you won't have to worry that much except the transportation, courier delivery service and a little extra just in case. Good luck! :)

Thank you how about the fingerprint fees? :)

If you have paid all the NVC fees already then you don't need to pay anything other than the car shuttle service which is a 1000PKR

Thanks what can you guys tell me are there fees for finger print.  I really Appreciate it

    Then

Then get the definition of what is an IMB and then demonstrate how FB is not.

Definition of an International Marriage Broker. “International marriage broker” is defined as an entity (whether or not U.S.-based) that charges fees for providing matchmaking services or social referrals between U.S. citizens/permanent residents and foreign nationals. The definition also exempts non-profit religious or cultural matchmaking services, and dating services that do not match U.S. citizens/residents with aliens as their principal business and that charge comparable rates and offer comparable services to all clients, regardless of gender or country of citizenship.

The definition of IMB, under Section 833(e)(4)(A), is any corporation, individual, or legal entity, whether or not existing under the laws of the U.S., who charges fees for providing dating, matrimonial, matchmaking or social referrals or is "otherwise faciliating communication between individuals."

So if it's a religious site that you pay that's considered a imb??
