I’ve been DQ since May 31 and our case is still sitting at NVC. There are people who were qualified in April who are still waiting for their interviews as well. Apparently Montreal is quite backlogged.

They did my fingerprints electronically and then your police check gets mailed to you.

It has to be done by fingerprints and through the Privacy Act. When I went into the police station to do mine, they had no clue what I was talking about. I showed them the printout of exactly what was needed.

Have you been married before and divorced? We received an RFE as well and I had to provide the full divorce decree, not just the divorce certificate.

I checked on the USCIS app and then we also got an email from our attorney.

Yours is on the way, this filing process is a test of patience. yours is on the way my dear. i called uscis every other day, they told me to be patient and check online. same blablabla but i kept calling until i they told me over the phone i got approved. i'm waiting for the letter but i already got the notification and it has been updated on their site.

We are in the same situation as you. We received a request for RFE in November and submitted it within a few days but have heard nothing back since. Fingers crossed we both hear something soon!

We finally received notification however they asked for more evidence, which was my full divorce order from my previous marriage. I had included my divorce certificate when we originally sent in the application, however we have been told that USCIS has been requesting full divorce orders/decrees, and more so from Canadian beneficiaries. 

We filed at the end of April and our priority date is May 4. Our application is being processed at Texas Service Center. Good luck everyone!
