There are many schools that would sponsor your sister, however this isn't a cheap option. In the case of most private schools that do this you have the normal cost of the school plus additional fees for them being international students.
So there is a way your mum can do this. If you were looking to have her start the next academic year here you need to get a move on however as most of the processes ten to wrap up in the next month or so for the following academic year.

Still nothing and I see people who filed in June are starting to receive there passes. Is there a number you can call to see what's happening?

Anyone had anything back? Could it be government shutdown that's slowing this down ?

Our filing date is the May 11th also at the Texas center and have not received our notification yet. Looking on the website it does say that the Texas center is currently processing May 18th so really hoping to get our NOA2 any day now.

Hi Quick question I sent off the application for my mother last Monday to sponsor her to move to the US. I was just wondering how long does it take for the process to start? I was hoping that by now they would have opened the application and cashed the application fee just so I knew that they had received it.

People who filed in October are starting to get there interview dates for January. I haven't had mine yet but did file toward the end of October and completed the fingerprints on 15th November. As others have said Christmas will slow things down as well. I am filing in Boston as well

Yes this is a family decision.
The point of my comment was to say that me going back is not an option, for essentially the reason you are worried about I may be pushing my sisters/mum into a path they don't want.
My Children and wife and yes myself love America. To go back to UK for us as a family is not something we would want to do. The driver for them to come to join us in the US is not me but them. Again however I will be the first to say having them here would be amazing. Obviously I am writing the posts here so everything will be tainted with my own bias
I found the stuff on the reentry permit as well and I think that this may provide the best legal option during the period where she is sponsoring my sisters to come to US a well.

If the child passes over age 21 while waiting does this extend the amount of time?
Or is it as long as the child is under 21 when application is made they are fine?

She is just finishing her GCSE this academic year. Her birthday is in September so she is one of the oldest in her class.
So she would come to the US to do two years of high school not for Uni.
She could then apply to go to a US Uni after that

GC-Date: The 'Resident Since' Date located on your first green card.
Sent: Date N-400 was mailed to USCIS.
Cashd: Date your check was cashed / credit card was charged by USCIS.
NOA: Receipt Notice Date Printed on your official I-797 notification.
Fprints: Date assigned for fingerprinting (Bio-metrics). If you do your biometrics via walk-in prior to your scheduled appointment, please enter the date in bold blue.
In Line: Date you received e-notification about the start of your interview scheduling.
Int Ltr: Date you received the official letter in the mail regarding interview.

If it was just me then I agree that would probably be the easiest path. However I have my own family with an 11 and a 9 year old who are now more American than English and I personally love the US and believe the best life for them is here. Not an easy situation as you say.
On the plus side there are options and I think there is a legal path to entry it just seems it may not be as straight forward as I would like.
Reading what others have written it could potentially be resolved by changing the application order. So if the process started with my sister applying for a student permit before I even looked to sponsor my mum this may solve all our issues.

Hi SusieQQQ the intent of all of this is to reunite the family as the program was intended to do.
As you can imagine the death of my father created quite a hole. The need for a new start and to unite the family is the overall intention.

As you guys say the fact that we would have an application in for full residency would clearly show we had immigrant intent.
Clearly we are just trying to find a legal path. It might be worth exploring with a lawyer anyway.
Read the following. This would suggest that as long as my sister was enrolled in the High School she wouldn't need to renew until the point at which that academic pursuit was finished.
F academic students: Duration of status (D/S), meaning for as long as you remain enrolled, full-time, in an educational program at an approved school; are making normal progress toward completing your course of study; and are in compliance with all the terms of your F-1 status. You’re allowed a 60-day grace period to prepare to leave the United States.
Under the Visa waiver program it looks as though she could spend up to ninety days in country so if they remained in UK at least they would be able to come out for all the holidays and then return to School or Uni. The question would be how to legally bridge the gap for my mum during that period. I presume she would need to spend at least 6 months and 1 day in country to show it was her permanent country of residency?

As any of you who are parents are going to understand leaving a 16 year old who has also lost her father is not really going to fly
. My other two sisters are at Uni so it is much easier to manage.
On all the sites you read it says there is no Visa wait time for children under 21, so just trying to understand why the process takes 2 years.
One option I read on another area was the idea that My mum comes on the green card. While we are waiting for her petition to go through my sister comes on a student visa. Does anyone think this will work?

If I sponsor my mom do my 3 sisters who are under 21 come in on her application or do they need to be sponsored separately somehow?

I filed I-130 2018 last week of May...it seems not normal?

We filed around may 11th 2018 we got our approval just over a week ago.
