Kurtis and I met online as teenagers. We developed a friendship on Yahoo chat, and then exchanged addresses. We sent each other a couple of letters, but then lost contact for a couple of years. I finally sent him an offline message requesting his phone number, and he replied with it.
So, I called him. Everything snowballed from there, and after a couple of months, we made the next big step of meeting each other in person. He came to Massachusetts. I can remember waiting so anxiously for him to arrive because his plane was delayed--but that first hug was worth the wait!
The week we spent together was.. just amazing! We were so comfortable with each other and everything seemed so natural. When I actually cried at the airport when it was time to say goodbye, it confirmed that he was the one.
Since then, I've been crying at various airports over the past 2 years. I can't wait until he's *here* with me!
