601 rfe was issued me after my 485 interview

and i receive this letter on NOV1st 23

My guess is that because your I-601 is with Vermont, they just sent the I-485 back to Vermont to deal with since right now the field office can't do much if anything with it. Then once the I-601 is approved Vermont will send the I-485 back to NBC which will then just approve it or forward it to the field office to deal with properly.

So I checked my case status this morning.. inputting and refreshing the page, like I’ve been doing for years and it said “We ordered your card” “Case approved” like what??? 🙏🏽 I am still shocked and it hasn’t sunk in yet.. I guess when I get my papers from my lawyer and the actual card, I will be less shocked. I am so incredibly grateful 🙏🏽

It was really weirdo , they got 1200$ for RFE , extra 1500$ for I-485 now 10$ for mail fee :))) 7210$… plus 2 friend of mine signed with them   . Now i am thinking what the hell i suggested…

I reached an agreement with my first attorney, I-485, I-360, and I-765, and the removal proceeding totaled 4,5K. I paid $2,000, then my attorney moved to another state, as he told me. He forwarded my case to his friend, who is now my current attorney. This attorney also made a client agreement with me. I signed, but there was no mention of I-485, and after a while, I checked and found I recently paid $1500 for I-485.
My first attorney also joined this law firm and handled my case. Lately, they asked for a shipping fee for a work permit. The first time they asked me, I just wanted to stick these agreements on their faces, but I’m scared of it. Just be careful please I was so rush don’t be rush . I got approved without their help because I also submitted my Vawa again because I checked they didn’t submitted all my documents so please make sure for everything ask all prof which lately I am asking 

can you imagen their level of cheapness... even after high feeses ( greedy to just booked you ) lazy and rudely reply to your worryfull  question ( minute they get paid ).... nerd to ask for mailing charges....such a shame story of all of us.

it usually take 10 to 12 month from your approval to receive 485 response, so by Jan 24, you will hear something from them ( if you have 485 pending )

2. You can wait uscis but it will take so long . When I asked how they will if I’m removal .  you have administratively close so they should . i dont know what is your stage, or proceeding you are in, if you have pending removal order, there are 2 options 1  administratively closer with BIA 2nd Prosecutorial Discretion (PD), usually lawyer go with BIA first ( its have 80% chance of deny, lawyers do just to perform extra service, in my opinion its waste of time, PD is much better to file and more chances to win, do your research on both, see your situation and decide

and for (#2) 601 ( no specify address, and advise to follow the form instruction )

yes, you are paying them to bossing you ( its everybody story here ) worst come worst, god forbid, if you dont receive receipt by Monday, send your Mail tracking receipt with RFE to local office to acknowledge them, it sent ( just advise, do whats good for you )

601 RFE is quit common, not lot of people talk about, and somehow for immigration officer, its almost become a fashion to issue rfe for 601

I never heard anyone sending 601 response to Tx till you shared the screenshot of the address. other approvals of 601 you shared earlier at TX, were they VAWA applicants? One VAWA applicant i know from NY took 6 months to get approval on his 601, he sent his response to Vermont, rest of the people sending 601 at Nebrasca and taking more than 2 years,

i am not 100% sure, if check processed, it might be ok, in my believe, these different offices are just different process time, vermont take the longest, because you are freshly starting with vawa, IL want to save your time and process it same time with 485, TX is your last stage, and you already gone through bulk of wasting time, may be the quickest

its always a good idea to bring it with you, if they ask or dont  ( in my interview letter they didnt ask me to bring, but i did ) and just before the end of the interview ( 20 min interview, supper basic ) she ask my medical... so better that way

OP sounds like she has approved I-360 and a pending I-485 where local office found need for I-601…so # 3 

only if she issued RFE for that, if 485 interview not called yet, so hold and save $930 + lawyer fee ( you dont know what wavier they will ask for, just a suggestion ) sometime they only ask for PD, its free and can be resolve in 2 months
