    Hello,

My condolences on your loss and suffering.  I know someone who went through the same complication during her pregnancy.

For the expedite, you would need to explain how getting your husband to the US as soon as possible can help your situation.  I assume you went through that whole ordeal in Mexico?  And that you are still in Mexico?  Your recovery and your husband's support is not currently being hindered by him not getting an interview, unless I am missing something.

Thank you! And you are correct this was all done in Mexico. No it is not being hindered I was just having wishful thinking. If it is possible for him to come to the states with me due to this. Like help me medically and economically.

  2. Hi everyone,

I want to know if I could expedite my case. My case was closed at the NVC in April. Due to covid it hasn't left to the consulate. I'm currently in Mexico staying with my husband. I found out I was pregnant 6 weeks in, however we discovered last week I had an ectopic pregnancy. I had surgery this week to remove my fallopian tube and the egg Tuesday. I have all the paperwork however it is all in spanish. I know I need to translate. But I was wandering if I could use this information to help my husbands case. I currently cannot move . He has been helping me the whole time.

  3. Hi, I understand with whole pandemic there hasn't been interviews, other than expedited petitions. I was in Mexico from March 10 to the June 4. During this time, I was notified in April about NVC approving all documents for my husband's case. My mother has been picking up my mail. However, when I came back I did not receive most of my mail due to her misplacing them. Can someone please get me out of this doubt I have been having, I am worried since April my husband's interview letter came but is now missing or will they be sending an email? The 3 month waiting period is up this month! Please tell me what I need to do to make sure my case isn't automatically denied.

Use her IRS tax transcripts, include a divorce degree copy to prove the household size reduction in the spouse category. Be sure to only note her own income, not combined or from the divorced husband.

All the 1040 forms were JOINT so the Tax Transcripts have combined information. I was thinking of adding her W2 so it gives an individual amount. My parents also claimed my grandmother from my father side. Since she hasn't filed for 2019 yet. The documents indicate my grandmother is claimed. Do I write a letter saying she will no longer claim her on top of the divorce degree?

  5. Hi, I need some advice on what to file as my mother will be the Joint sponsor. She just divorced my father last year 2019. The documents I would be sending in is from 2016-2018 taxes however, all of those said she was married and we're joint returns. So what are the documents I could use for her to qualify as a joint Sponsor? I greatly appreciate the help and support.

  6. I want to thank for everyone's input. It is scary to expedite. But I also what you to be informed even if the expedite is denied. They will still process the visa as usual. It is just a matter of taking a leap of faith. I believe taking a shot is worth more than doing nothing at all. I will update you guys in a few weeks once I have received the welcome letter to NVC then I will request expedite.

Sorry, you can not expedite based on what you've posted.  All of that is just normal every day life.

A financial hardship would be unable to work because of a serious illness, etc.

Claiming that you are in a financial hardship comes into complete conflict with the I-864 and the public charge issues.

This article tells me other wise. 🤔

  8. Hi Everyone,

I would greatly appreciate some advise or suggestions in expediting my Husband's visa. His I-130 was approved from USCIS Nov. 06, 2019. that was a few weeks ago. NVC has not received our petition as of now. I have been reading and learned I could expedite the NVC process. I am currently a student in a university and have a part-time job for seasonal; then will be let go after holidays. I have student loans to pay off (over 12K). I will also be having to pay off a personal loan of 15K. Any suggestions how I could prove I need him here for financial support? Please let me know. I greatly appreciate it.

  9. Hello,

I have been going back and forth about this topic. I am a full time student with no job currently. Now married, I had to get off my parents insurance. Thus, I had to enroll to Medi-Cal. I have been on Medi-Cal since June. Which was also when I sent the petition for my Husband. Do I need to get off of this plan and look for a different plan so it doesn't jeopardize the I-130 petition? Or will I be okay by simply adding the cosponsor when I feel out the I-864 affidavit of support form?

  10. Hi,

so where do I begin. I recently got married to my husband this year. We wed in Mexico and now I am in the process of filing for CR-1. We met when we were kids. Every year since I was a kid my family would go to Mexico and spend summer and winter break at my father's hometown. I met my husband when I was 14 in the summer of 2009. I really liked him but never had the courage to tell him. He too lives in the same town. When I met him we would hang out occasionally up to when I was 16. We had lost contact for 5 years until I went back for the summer in 2016. Since then our relationship became more intimate. I have pictures of him then, but not together. Our first picture together was when I returned for Christmas that same year in 2016. In my packet I have included gifts, some text messages, some screenshots of call logs from WhatsApp and flight confirmations as of December of 2016 to Now. I also have included my future flight for next month to see him. My question is should I include the pictures explaining when I met him or will it not help? Or a declaration of meeting is better? Does the declaration need to be notarized? Please help.
