Forgot to add. We’ve been together since April 2015 and got married November 2016. 

My husband is in Jamaica as well. I don’t have the luxury of renting an apartment there. I’m glad you’re able to do that!  He built us a house but it’s a shack. I stayed there many times but can’t do it anymore. The only thing that keeps us going is that we are almost there.  We’ve waited 7 months and can wait 2-3 more. It’s just so hard. 

Yes. And believe that it will all work out for the best for everyone. Just stay positive and keep pushing forward. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. 

Yup, I support both of our households as well, my husband and step son are in Jamaica. 
So unreal what they put us through to be together. USCIS doesn’t care about what we go through, we are numbers to them. I want them here so we can build a life together and to get them out of the conditions they are in. I know our time will eventually come, it’s just so miserable waiting!
 

Hi everyone!  I just joined today but have been lurking this website for over a year.  I decided that it might be best for me to join now that hubby and I have started the process :-).  I mailed my package in on Monday, 9/25/17 and it was delivered on 9/27/17.  Good luck to all fellow filers.
