Don't worry and don't be nervous-- It's too soon for that. lol
I just saw u're getting something from informed delivery!!! - It can be your approval!!! please let us know when you open it.
Besides, if it's an RFE is not even a problem. It just means that once u give them what they ask for, ur approval awaits! Wishing u a speedy process :)

I will,I will ...im so nervous... thank you.

    Hii!

So my fiance went to the interview yesterday in Buenos Aires. He said they asked him more about the political climate in Cuba than about our relationship; such as is he communist, is he apart of the party or of the juventud etc. They asked a few questions about our relationship, where we met, how many times we've seen each other and what I like to do... Then they gave him a letter stating they put him into AP. The officer said it could take 2 - 4 weeks, but they kept his passport which is a good sign.. Just have to wait some more.

    Hi,

has anyone had the interview in Colombia? Thanks in advance...

Hi Kirenia. I received an email this morning from NVC stating that everything was being transferred to Bogota and that if we didn't have a interview scheduled before things changed that they would notify us on next steps. I think things are still up in the air and no one has an interview date yet.

This situation is very frustrating ☹hopefully everything returns to normal. thank you very much.

Hey did you see the news? The embassy in Havana will lose roughly 60 percent of its U.S. staff, and will stop processing visas in Cuba indefinitely, American officials told the AP.

Hi @Kirenia! I was just in Dallas for a wedding a couple weeks ago! :) My Spanish is decent, but could be much better...I am going to start classes soon while I find ways to pass the time.  Where are you from in Cuba and where does your fiance live?  I'm going to spend Christmas there with my fiance...only 86 days to go.  I wish you the best of luck in this process!

    Hello new friends!

So excited to have found this forum! Nobody else understands what I'm going through during the process so I'm very happy to meet you all. My name is Jacqueline and I met my fiancé, Osmany, in Cuba earlier this year at a friend's wedding. Went back a couple months ago to make sure that love at first sight is a thing...I'm here to tell you it is! He proposed on the beach in Guanabo on July 4th.

    My timeline so far:

Aug 11: shipped paperwork via UPS to Texas

Aug 15: received notification it was delivered

Aug 18: received email and text message from USCIS with receipt number

Aug 25: received NOA1 in the mail (woohoo!)

So now I wait for the NOA2...keeping myself as busy as possible. Anyone else have a fiancé in Cuba? Praying that this process is swift and smooth for everyone! And I'd be down for an Atlanta meet up...saw the Atlanta Fish Market in an earlier thread...yum!!

Hi Jacqueline!! I'm from cuba but I live in Texas,  my fiance is from cuba too, and I'm waiting for the NOA2! Do you speak Spanish? Good luck for you!
