  1. Hi all my mother-in-law is a 2022 DV selectee we did the DS-260 back in May wat do we do now is just wait? Do we need to contact anyone we have all our documents and they are translated. Does anyone have a ideal timeline do they start calling interviews in a certain month? Or should I email the embassy?

Nope, go ahead and submit. I’m a little surprised it didn’t prompt you to - you did list the child on the entry form and then indicate she would be immigrating with the mom on the mom’s DS260, right?

Yes, I did , no it did not prompt me to do a DS260 for her

So I use the mother NVC number to put on the daughters DS260? I feel alittle lost we had submitted the DS260 for the mom and we stated the daughter was migrating with her but we didn’t know we had to do a DS260 on the daughter.

Yes this is for the DV 2022 , May 8 2021 selectee

Every family member who is applying for a visa has to fill out a DS260.

  5. I am impatiently waiting for Santa Ana, Ca service center for our AOS interview I did a follow up call this morning and they said we are still in processing time our file date is 10/10/2019

The processing time changed for Santa Ana from 12mo-35mo  so we cannot inquire until after the 35 months they told us

There is a couple here in visa journey with similar time frames but they filed a week after us they had got their interview for the Santa Ana office already so I don’t know what to do 🤷🏽‍♀️  How did they get a interview before us?

My NOA2 estimate shows June 3.  I thought it would take much longer.  My fiancé planned a trip to visit me in July (we purchased airline tickets already).  Does anyone know whether fiancé can visit US after petition is approved but has not had the interview yet?

If you do not live in the USA and only have a NOA 2 and have not done the interview, You cannot come until your visa is issue from the embassy. He the US citizen can visit you whenever. If you attempt to come with out the visa be careful that’s can red flag
