My experience is when my parents got their green cards and came here. they landed in Detroit and CBP asked them why don't they have a flight to Kentucky. My parents replied that they wanted to visit relatives and my sister. There was no problem at all and CBP let them in the country. 

Tell your parents to be honest, only say the truth and everything will be fine.

Thank you. I am not really sure how POE works and my Mom always freaks out,thats why she has doing things the right way. 😊

I have a question. So, My parents got their visas approved and they are planning to be here by the end of October. I live in TN and most of my relatives are in California. They wanted to visit their relatives (sisters and cousins) in California for a week before going her in TN. Are they allowed to do that? Can LAX be their POE? 

I want them to visit them since they havent since each other for years, but I dont know if that will cause problems in Immigration.
