My spouce has his interview in ciudad Juarez. We live in Houston and are heading over to Mexico. We know the most direct rout is I-10, but I don't know if there are any check points. If we are leaving the U.S. would it even be an issue? We have proof of his apointment, would that help? Or should we just avoid roads that close to the border?
You shouldn't have an issue. When's his interview?

Hello Guys,
So my interview is next Friday and I am an emotional wreck! Happy, sad, anxious, excited! I am pretty certain I have all my documents ready. Wish me luck!

Did you use a lawyer? Cause if so, they should have known better. If not, you messed up for not getting one

I did just to be safe. I didn't have my appointment yet though so I renewed in case I didn't get my appointment in time

I obtained the "carta de antecedents no penales" federal for my wife using "tramites mexico". It arrived this morning and appears to have an official apostille with a certification for the apostille on the back. I have absolutely no idea whether or not NVC and consulate will accept it ? It looks legit, but cant say until we have had consular interview scheduled and go to interview and are back in US. I will follow up with this post after all is complete.
When did you request it? How long did it take for you to get it? When's your wife's interview?

yes it is legit. It has original apostillado.. you have to send them copy of your passport and someone in Mexico goes to the appropriate office and ask for it and then they sent it to you.. give them a call they can explain they are familiar tell them the reason you need it for
Got it, ok, just requested it!

Hello everyone,
This is how I got the letter of antecedentes no penales for my spouse. This company is based in Texas and they get the letter from mexico for you. Just need a passport and the cost I believe is 390. They are super nice and helpful . You could ask for Zulma. It take about 3-5 business days.
