My fiance is in the USA and was approve. Thank God. We are getting married in 1 month. I know all the paperwork to do the change of status. My question does someone know how long until the interview for him getting his papers?

I am having an issue. My fiance did not listen to me. His passport will expire in 5 month by the time of his interview. Apparently, a friend of his working at the embassy told him that it was OK. In the process, of renewing for a new passport, his medical test had to be put on hold. He still has not receive his new passport because there's no passport booklet. That also mean no medical. He was not able to get the police paper. I want to rip all my hair out. His interview is on the 26th of this month. I already send all the papers to him. What is the best approach to this issue?

Any input will be appreciate

Well guys its been a journey and ours (visa) is just bout complete. I will be signing off here today as my hubby got notification today that his passport is ready for pickup at dhl. I want to take my time and thank you guys. This process gave me headache and some white hair along the way. But you guys made so much better with words of encouragement and answers to my questions. I really appreciate it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

OK I have a question, my fiance visa will expire in September so by the time he will be at the embassy, the expiration date will be in 5 month and 1/2. He has a friend (who work at the embassy) that told him that he should be fine. I am not sure about this. Does anyone has an opinion for me? His interview is on the 26 of April? All the document that i file has that passport # on it. This is driven me crazy

For medical the list is on packet 3, they are no different on how long they give you the results, it all depends on your interview date, I got my results in 3weeks but people who went after me got it in less then that. So bottom line is if you go a month early you won’t get the result in 2 days, they tried to make the results spend as little time in your hand as possible before the interview. I chose the first one on the list because it was closer ( petits frères et soeurs)and it was 440 most places are 450

Breath. I will be nervous too. But they all seems to have the same time for the appointment (why it might take so long for him). So keep a positive mindset

I just got our interview date (April 26th). I am so nervous and exited. I feel like I can see the light of the tunnel for this long journey. Let's hang in there

I am soooo sorry to bother you but do you know the email or phone number of where I need to ask for the packet 3? He's paying for the interview today.

I have brief question. Our file was receive at the Embassy in Haiti. I did do the DS 160. Now do I wait for the embassy to send me mail with the interview date or do we have to pay for the interview date?

I just realized that I missed to fill the last nice for the petitioner (name, phone#, email). I receive stating that they did receive my form. I just want to know is that reason enough for them to return the form? And if they return the form, when I send it back will it be back at the end of the line again?

I do know that it is an error to not fill every box, I am human and made a mistake. Please help

I just receive my receipt notification by mail but my fiance date is incorrect. it shows 09/16/2017 but it is 09/26/2017. I would love to fix it since I caught it an early stage. Any help on how to do so. Thank you
