  1. A friend of mine friend got an issue and they need an advice ASAP.  The friend came to the US thru a visit visa and they decided to stay here and he went some process to marry someone in court and after that he started the immigration papers and it came time for the interview and the lady who was the petitioner did not show up at the interview but the guy did. And they went ahead ask for the lady and he lied that she had travelled on a family issues.  But to make long story short, the did his interview and told he will hear from them and when he did, they told he had 33 days to leave the country.  And now it’s getting close to the time they have to leave and I wanted ask is there anything that he can do to try go through the process again?  Or suggestions please help.  Thanks

  2. Hello guys, I need an urgent answer for my friend.  A friend's wife went to an interview in Ghana embassy for Cr1 visa and after the interview, the consular officer said they would love to give her the visa but they can't because her husband's income is not enough so if she can get a joint sponsor, and bring their document and put it in a drop box in a given location, he will approve the visa.  So the officer gave his wife paper that listed what she needs to drop off.  They were Joint Sponsor Original Affidavit of Support form I-864, Joint Support IRS Tax Transcript or Tax return AND W2's and Original Household Member Support Form I-864 A from Joint Sponsor's wife if necessary.  Now my friend question is that he got a joint sponsor from one of his boys and his friend the joint sponsor is married but he makes enough income on his W2's but when he files, he file as married or joint on his taxes and him and his wife makes enough money.  But he is the only person sponsoring his friend 's wife so the question is does the joint sponsor's wife need to fill Form I-864A too because they file as joint or married on taxes or with just him with his information is fine because he is the only joint sponsor.  Please help?  Thanks

  3. Hello all, I hope you all are doing well.  A friend's wife went to her interview this morning at the Ghana Embassy and according to the consular officer, everything was good until the financial evidence.  So the officer said that he would have approve it but her husband who is the petitioner did not make enough income according to their 2016 tax transcript.  And they had letter of employment for 2017 and paystubs because they have a better job now but the consular said that is not good enough for him to approve her visa.  So he said he will approve if she brings these documents which are, her passport, Original Affidavit of Support form I-864 from Joint sponsor, IRS Tax Transcript or Tax Returns AND W2'(s) from a Joint sponsor, Original Household Member Support Form I-864A Form from Joint sponsor's spouse, if necessary.  And when she attain all these, there is a drop box at DHL near the embassy where they should drop these documents off by DHL and he, the consular officer would approve once he gets it.  Now my question is that has anybody been through something like this or Any ideas or suggestions and how does it work?  Please I need your suggestions ASAP for my friend.  Thanks

  6. I am the petitioner for my loved one that I filed CR1 Visa for.  I went through the process and now I have gotten an interview date but there were some errors for my financial evidence that NVC wrote and told me that they will schedule my love one for interview.  But instructed me to fix my financial support evidence and give it to my love one to bring it to the interview.  The issue is that I did not make enough money for my 2016 taxes but I also forgot that I had also sponsored some family sometime ago.   But my question to you all is that can I get a co-sponsor so I can meet my financial support bracket and send my love one the copies along with what NVC asked from me?  And also I make enough money to support my household now for this year so can I also send my love an employer's letter and how much my anticipated salary for this year will be and also my paystubs?  Please I need your feedback.  By the way, my love one interview is in Ghana and I heard they are tough so can you all give a feedback.  Thanks
