Can i do my biometrics here in Texas when my biometrics application is set in Orlando, Florida? My husband just received the biometrics notice in the mail yesterday and it says i have to do it on August 15(didnt expect it to arrive that soon). I am having a vacation here in Texas (just got here 4 days ago) and was wondering if I can do it here instead of flying back to florida.(was planning to stay here til the end of the month). its just a vacation and im not permanently staying here so i hope that changing the address in my whole AOS application is not the only option there is. any advice?

thank you for replying Geowrian! so, does that mean I can't use the Notice of Acceptance from uscis (when i receive it in the mail) for now as proof that I already filed for the AOS?..it has to be the EAD or the Green Card?..does it also apply to state ID and driver's license too?

I read somewhere that K1 visa holders can actually apply for ss number 2 weeks after they arrive in the US considering their visa/i-94 is still valid..(i should have known)..my question is, can i still apply for the ss number even if my i-94 and visa will expire on august 9? (less than two weeks from now)..in case i can't, do i still need to wait for the EAD to arrive or can i use the NOA letter?..we are still waiting for the Notice of Acceptance from uscis through mail..i really cant find the answers on the ss website and on google..

JFH thanks for replying! 😊..my husband got work in those days but he will go to texas too, soon after..he said this is going to be the first time he will fly domestically too..though he visited me in the Philippines before..I hope my foreign (Philippine) passport would do as identification..I haven't applied for a driver's license or ss number yet..I might need to wait for the Employment Authorization document first.. 😊

i'm a k1 visa holder and just married my fiance last may 24..we already filed my AOS and still waiting for NOA..my daughter (k2) and i wants to travel to Dallas, Texas from Orlando, Florida this week but my visa/i-94 will expire on august 9..(the travel will occur before it expires)..will i encounter any problems in the airport with inspections or documentations?
