Called NVC yesterday. They have received our extra docs but do not have new scan date for us yet. I was told it could take up to 11 weeks for review and said oh but there is no new scan date??? Also asked if we were still in line for a supervisor review. Yes but that could take up to 6 weeks. We are 2 weeks in so far for this checklist. Good luck to the rest of the June class of 2017. Wish I could have graduated with you all!!
I am in your exact same boat! The time shall pass....

@Happyfamily03, each checklist begins with "the instructions will tell you to send the documents in OR bring them with you." When I read your instructions, it shows bring them with you. Sounds like you will have a case complete, and you simply need to be sure and bring the requested documents to interview.
It gets confusing with all of the different instructions. Much of it is just there to re-advise on how to send in documents. So, when you send in civil documents, you send in copies...when you send in the I-864, it must be signed, etc. etc.
Like I said before, looks like you just need to bring them to the interview. Congrats and look out for your CC!!

@Elleandeff, did you simply request a supervisor review? If so, how long did it take them to get back to you? I requested one as well. They said up to 6 weeks. I am hoping sooner. I also sent in my "missing" document today. I would hate to think my clock resets to 11 more weeks!!

Sadly I think that's normal, because I got two checklists throughout my case: the first one said to send the document in and the second said I could bring the document to the interview... even though they were both simple, straightforward docs...
From what I've seen on VJ I think it could either be that you didn't send it in or that they lost it, I don't know if that changes the outcome though...
As to whether what they requested is simple enough for supervisor review I'll let others answer as I have no experience with that :/ - wishing you luck though! I know how frustrating it is to get email from NVC and it be a checklist
Sending in a copy today. I called and requested they re-review my packet. I am 99% confident I sent it. They said it could take 6 weeks to re-review. Is this a "supervisor review"? Anyone have any luck with a "supervisor review"?

I can send it to them, or take with me to the interview. I don't know what to do. It was almost over, and now this. So frustrating...
Sounds like you have a choice. I do not seem to have a choice.

I just got a Checklist too, but what I understood I cant take the right document with me, to the interview. how about yours?
You can, or you can't, take them? Mine says to send them in..

CHECKLIST....K folks, need your help! This is what I received!
______PASSPORT:____________________________________________________
Please submit a copy of the biographic data page of this person's
passport, including the expiration date of the passport. The
passport must be valid.Does this mean I didn't send it/or they lost it?? Is this simple enough for supervisor review?

Alright, I think @cleon86 agrees that this is getting very frustrating! I am at 10 weeks (in a few hours). What is the delay with Central American cases??

Nooo, I had checked throughout the day and I think once again after I posted here earlier, but NVC was still open 😁
I think they completed it in the last few hours that they were open yesterday
Ah I see...I just wanted to see if I shouldn't check it throughout the night. Seems like it updates real time.

QUESTION..so my scan date is 6/14. Sent EVERHTHING in at once. Then, my ditz of an attorney said I needed the I-864, rather than the EZ, so she sent it against my desire! So new scan date of 7-3. NVC says that pushes my case back. Is that true? Will they not review my first documents until my time has come for the latter?

I called nvc few minutes ago i got case complete today!!!!! Thank God . Scan date: may 22nd. July 25th i spoke with a supervisor even thou she didnt specifically said she was doing something to expedite or sending it to review or anything she just kinda said dont worry about it its in review department it will get reviewed any day now. I found out that same date i spoke with her the case went into review . Dont know if the supervisor had anything to do with it but i find it very coincidental! @cleon86 Thanks for the support and for sharing your knowledge guys.
I am so happy for you! I am El Salvador as well with @cleon86. I have a question I hope someone can answer. My scan date is 6/14, however, my attorney claimed the I-864A I sent wasn't going to work (I don't trust my attorney, and that isn't the point). She sent a new one that scanned 7/3. Does this actually move back my scan date, or does it not matter because I have NOT received a checklist?

Can somebody answer my question?
I know to register for mine I will click on this link, then find my embassy in the drop down (near the bottom of the page). It should then provide instructions/links on the PDF.

We had our interview on December 4th, told we were approved. Looks like CAEC showed "READY" until yesterday, December 12th, (the date having updated a few times). Then it went to AP, then ISSUED in the same day. I think ours took longer than usual because we had an I-601 waiver. What status does CAEC show for you?
