Ok for ROM and Passport renewal, we're gonna need the PSA BC form and not the one we had at birth is that correct? From the link, it looks like I have to register online, pay the fee, have it either sent to our address in Philippines and then mailed here or mailed here directly.
1. It looks like it's gonna take a while for them documents to get here? Our trip to LA is Oct. 3-6 only. Will it make it before our trip?
2. Other people have said, all you need is a valid BC and the one you had at birth counts as well. Is that a true statement? I don't like taking a gamble with these stuff.
3. We will make copies of our Marriage certificate and bring original as well.

ok so from what I am understanding is I have to register online and will have to wait for it to be delivered to me? because my wife has her very original birth certificate when she was born, does that not count as NSO/PSA?
Also, on ROM, if we go up there in person, we just need to have 5 copies of our marriage certificate, correct?

If I send original marriage certificate, will it be returned to me? Also, if I do it in person, can I just like make 5 copies and hand it to them? And what does in mean PSA/NSO? is it not the one we have at birth? does that not count?

so whatever birth certificate we had at birth in the Philippines, that should be good to go? Also, on the ROM, our wedding certificate just needs to be photocopied 5x correct?

I am not sure on the PSA birth certificate, is that like what you have on your birth certificate or it has to be processed again to be PSA perse

it's on the renewal of passport and yes I will be there with her whenever we go to L.A. We are coming from Texas so I want to make sure that I have everything I need to have before I buy them plane tickets

I have read all of this, what I wanted, if possible, are like tips on renewing her passport and ROM? I will read about it later and be more specific like what does PSA birth certificate means and some other clarifications.

Guys, if possible, can you please give a list of things to have before I buy 2 flight tickets from texas to LA so that my wife can renew her Philippine passport and we can do ROM as well. I know the things to do I am just confused on some of the things to bring to the embassy. Thanks!

Can you go ahead and send your n400 while your I-751 is still pending? Would it affect your current case? what to send for your permanent green card? also, if I were to change my wife's last name, do I have to do the form for that as well? Really need some help guys, thanks so much. Our I-751 has been sent since November of last year 2016 and it's still not here, I checked online and California center still processing June 15th of 2016. really frustrating.

gypsyqueen Well thank you so much for your input. we will proceed with her maiden name. I was gonna do that to begin with and I was really confident until I came across with this dilemma of waiting versus using her married name, that's why I started researching about it and not a lot of people arein the same boat as we are. So we will use maiden name for now because we might travel soon and will change it in the future if we have to, Thanks a lot!

gypsyqueen hi yes so just renew her passport in philippine outreach program here in Dallas as well as her ROM in her maiden name so it's easier and more consistent? How do you think we should proceed with her maiden name changing to her married name while we wait for her ROC because when I checked online, CSC are still just looking at June 2016 filers. We filed November 2016. We will start her n400 as soon as her 90 days prior to November 2017. Do we do her married name then or shoud we file for change of last name for her green card as well?

My wife and I are awaiting her approval for her ROC and we filed it to the California branch last Nov. 26, 2016 got NOA a week after and now still waiting for it. She has used her maiden name on all of her USCIS forms and now we are thinking about changing her maiden name to her married name. We are also wanting to renew her passport and do ROM while we're there. 1. We can change her maiden name to her married name and change all of her forms but how will we proceed with her N400 and i130? Do we have to file to change her greencard name eventhough it hasnt been approved or even looked at yet? 2. Do we use married name when we do her philippine passport renewal and ROM? Please help guys. I have not seen anybody with the same situation as we are in right now. Thanks.

okay guys thank you so much for all the help and the patience with me. I think we will just go there with the BC we had at birth and we'll go with that. we'll bring copies and original marriage certificate forms and we will make sure we get all paperwork done before we get there. thanks!
