After how long did you get your case number ?

4 days after they(NVC) received the approved petition i call back and they(NVC) had a case number assigned. But wasn't able to sign in yet until like 4 days after, then i filled out the agent form part yesterday. Am still waiting to make the payments.

Remember, i haven't received a welcome letter from NVC with invoice and case #. I got all of this info by me calling them.

12 business days and my case still not at NVC ... are people seeing delays ?

Well my case was approved Sept. 8th and till this day i have not received NVC letter. USCIS did sent it like almost 3 weeks later . I kept calling NVC of course that's how i found out  when they received it. Also, was able to get a case number and invoice #. Maintain calling.

    Hello everyone!

I am a little confuse about the whole waiting situation. I thought after getting i130 approved the process was gonna be faster but it's going to be almost a month since USCIS approved my application and I haven't heard anything from NVC. Does anybody has an idea how long do I have to wait for my BIN from NVC? or a suggestion of what to do?

For a little background my PD is march 6th, my case was approved august 31st but I received my approval letter until September 5th; my case was sent to Department of State for visa processing on September 19. How long should I wait before I call them?

Any help will be deeply appreciate it. Good luck to y'all!

am on the same boat here..

     My pd :March 24th

    Approval : Sept 8th

Received the notice by text on sept. 11th and the 12th by mail.

But  today (sept. 25th)i got an email that the status changed from approved to sent to NVC. Basically almost 3 weeks of approved petition , and now wait 3 more weeks to get a letter from NVC.

  8. I don't know if you guys are all aware of the devastating flooding that hurricane Harvey cause in Texas.  Based on the google search that I made this morning, there are 2 (Austin,TX & Houston, TX )USCIS Service Center in Texas. Houston was one of the worst affected areas at the moment. Due to this terrific mother nature disaster , I am afraid more delays on our cases. Please lets all pray for Texas.
