  1. Hi, I am scheduled for the oath ceremony next week and I would like to get ahead by preparing to prepare for the next steps. Could you please share the process to apply for a US passport? Do I need to make an appointment? How long does it take nowadays with the expedited processing? etc. Thank you!
  2. Hello, my interview has been scheduled for the end of this month. I filed under the 5-year rule (divorced). Could you please let me know if I am missing any documents on this list? - Tax transcripts of the last 5 years - Lease/utility bill/bank statement proving that I meet the 3-month residency requirement (I applied 3.5 months after I moved to TX) - divorce decree - Selective system registration - Interview notice - Previous USCIS documents - Green cards (conditional and 10 years) - All passports - DL Thank you!
  3. Hello, my interview has been scheduled for the end of February (I applied on October 18th). I filed under the 5-year rule (previously married). Besides studying the civics questions, could you please share any tips and your experience? What documents did you take with you? Thank you!
  4. @Mike E "Photos should be arranged 4 to 6 per 8.5x11 inch PDF page", does that mean that I should put pictures on an 8.5x11 inch PDF page? Thank you
  5. Hi, I am currently in the process of filing N400 online with the 5-year rule. A few questions I have: Can I upload pictures taken by phone of the GC or does it have to be a photocopy? Should I upload a copy of my driver's license? Do they ask to see an expired passport during the interview? I would think yes if they want to verify stamps. Thank you!
  6. Thank you all! Is there a way to obtain a driving record? Through Car insurance potentially?
  7. Thank you. That's similar to what I included as required documents (Green card, divorce decree, selective service registration proof) for my case. I am not currently married and my I-751 is already approved.
  8. Hi, I am getting ready to submit my application at the end of this month under the 5-year rule. I attached the tax return transcript for the last 5 years as optional additional evidence. Is there any other evidence you recommend that can the process smoother? Also, I got a speeding and a few red light tickets in the last few years. Do I need to report any of those? I did not see any questions regarding traffic tickets. Thank you!
  9. Hi, I am applying for Naturalization online through the 5-year rule. There is an option to attach additional evidence to support my application. The section says "You can provide additional documents that support your application and help explain any of your responses on the application. If you want to provide additional evidence now, upload any documents below. You can also bring the documents to your naturalization interview." All my answers did not trigger any comments. Do you recommend any documents that I can provide to make the process easier? Thank you!
  10. I-751 filed: October 2020 I-751 approved: June 2021 Divorce filed: April 2023 Final divorce decree: May 2023
  11. Possibly with a different email address. Would that be an issue or it does not matter? Thank you
  12. Thank you! How quick is Norfolk office? I actually just moved to Austin from Virginia and hoping that Texas is also quick! Joint
