  1. Hello all! How is everyone?

Keltic Congrats on the baby boy!! Very exciting news.

Em&Ed Good luck on the biometrics tomorrow. I hope everything goes well for you.

Sorry to hear about the house hunting/mortgage issues. I hope the right offer and the perfect home will be in your near future.

I got caught up reading the posts on the situation with Arazia and Harry. What a mess! I wish both of you the best of luck. I know this unusual circumstance must be difficult on you both. As if this process itself was not already difficult enough that adds even more stress to things

Rene and I are still waiting for word that NVC has received our case. We are certainly happy that CSC is finished with it anyway! :)

    Best wishes to everyone!!

  4. Hi everyone,

Thanks for all of the uplifting replies! We are keeping our fingers crossed with all of the information we sent back. We are considering the RFE a positive step forward

That is wonderful that Mark and Harry will be here for the upcoming holidays! I wish all of you the best thanks for your support!

  5. We received the RFE via snail mail on November 6th. That really wasn't too bad considering they mailed it on November the 2nd.The request was for additional information on us having met within the last 2 years. It is strange that we received this as we did send a lot of primary evidence with our K1 filing. We sent our RFE reply back today with the original evidence we submitted as well as additional evidence. I agree with you! Atleast it means they are doing something with our case. I cannot complain about that. I hope everyone is having a nice week. Best wishes to all of you! :)

  6. My fiance and I are going through the same thing. We hired an attorney and received an RFE 2 months after filing. He tried to blame it on IMBRA etc. We just received the RFE today by snail mail. I have no idea why they did not send it to the attorneys office but we are SO HAPPY that USCIS sent it to us. We are now wishing we would have never hired this attorney either. He even posts on his web page that they DON'T receive RFE's. Unbelievable isn't it?

  7. We received our RFE by snail mail today! We are curious for those of you who have had to do this as well. When you returned your RFE, did you only put the evidence in the envelope provided by USCIS or did you put that envelope into a brown envelope. We are sending quite a lot. What are their specifications on how they receive this information? I thought I read on a post here that you can place the information in a brown envelope but you must mark it a certain way. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :help:

Best of luck to all of you!

I am sure all of the stress will be worth it in the end. Hang in there!

Rene and I received an RFE on November 1 :(CSC sent us 5 emails and our lawyer has yet to receive the letter to tell us what it is. AAARRGGHH!!! We have reviewed absolutely everything and can think of nothing that we did not include. I have read by a few VJ members that they are notorious for losing things out of your file there. Wish us luck and let us hope that whatever it is can be quickly resolved.

Hope everyone else is doing great and enjoying what is left of the weekend!

  9. Can anyone tell me what the touches generally indicate after a RFE if anything? Our case was touched on 10/31/06 RFE received via e-mail on 11/01/06 then touched again on 11/02 and 11/03. Any suggestions or advice is helpful. Our attorney is being an azz suggesting that it is an IMBRA RFE although we filed after all the new forms were out. We are now beginning to think we should have NEVER used an attorney at all.
