    AOS interview scheduled cancelled

    Hi to all!!

    I applied for my AOS last May 3 and my interview should be this coming Aug 9. Today, I received a Notice of Interview Cancellation by USCIS. The letter says :

    This is to advice you that, due to unforseen circumstances, we have cancelled the previously scheduled interview on Thursday, Aug 9, 2007 at 10:30 AM for the above applicant. We regret any inconvenience this may cause. You will be notified of any further action taken on this case, including any rescheduled interview information, under separate notice.

    I need your advice guys, what should be the best thing to do? I am aware that USCIS systems right now seems do have problems and I am worried that if I wont appear on the inteview date, they might say that I abandone my interview schedule. Anyone do experience this recently? Pls shares any experiences about this matter. It would be really a great help for me. Thank you so much! God bless!

    Good day to everyone! I received the notice of action about my interview this coming August. I arrived here March 2007 and we got married April 2007. Based on the checklist they gave,

    1. I need to present a supporting evidence of our relationship and just like insurance and titles. Since we just got married recently, we don't have much proof with my spouse and my name on one billing statements. Can you please give me an advice on what you guys show to the IO?

    2. Another documents written in the checklist is that.. a completed affidavit of support with all required evidence. We already submitted the completed affidavit of support and attached only the recent ITR. Do i need to prepare anothe affidavit of support and bring the past 3 years ITR since thats they asked for the required evidence in this checklist? We only attached the recent ITR because when we applied for AOS, their is an option where you could only attached the recent one.

    3. Please give me some tips about interview and what usually they are going to ask.

    Right now, i felt nervous again :) but good thing is, i will be with my husband. My interview would be in Portland. I appreciate all inputs. Thank you so much! Have a nice day!!

    Hi guys :D I am happy that finally i do have a case number. As u noticed on my timeline. my fiancee received the NOA2 last sept 23. After that, i decided to email the NVC Oct 2 :) Then.. i emailed them again oct 6.. my last email was oct 9... Guess writing email helps cause some who called, they are just told to wait for like 90 days. the email addy is ..NVCInquiry@state.gov

    on subject: i write.. quiry on case receipt no.....

    Dear Sir or Madam,

    Good day! I just want to inquire if u received our approved case WAC06 . Thank u so much! God bless!

    Respectfully yours,

    ....

    That what i write and they informed me that. they already :

    Dear Madam,

    Your inquiry has been received at the NVC. The non-immigrant visa petition you mentioned in your letter has already been entered into our computer system and assigned the case number MNL2006.

    You will be notified once this case is forwarded to the assigned US Embassy.

    Hi guys!

    Once again i decided to post to asked for different advices from friends here My fiance last ITR and W-2 didnt reached the minimum requirement bec there are months that he dont have work. But on this year, he already reached the minimum requirement. They could see that on his paystubs. But of course, we dont really know what the consul will think or if they will just resgard the last ITR and W-2 then and based on his latest paystubs.

    if ever i get interviewed before the filling of income tax means i am going to show to them the last ITR where it didnt reached the min. requirement. What u think would be best to do then so that we wil not take chances. We are planning to have a co-sponsor then. What you think bout this guys? What would be best thing to do then?     Immigration asks for a Tagalog written letter

    Hi there! I am filipina too and i wonder why they asked tagalog letters. Maybe its bec. your fiance is filipino too. On my own point of view. guess it is better to write a letter saying that u communicate through english only since ur fiance dont understand tagalog so well and it would be useless to write in tagalog letter then. The docs we forward to for proof of meeting and relationships are.. Photocopy of his passport, photocopy of electronic ticket, photocopy of receipt of hotel, snail mails, emails, chat conversations and pictures together. If you missed something. then guess it would be best to include it then. :)
