  1. Thanks for the advice. If applicants are answering yes to 15b because of minor traffic violations, they then need to list the dates of those violations in the table that follows. Is there a way to get the exact dates of these violations, other than trying to recollect from memory? If recollecting from memory, dates will likely be approximate. Is there a way to indicate that dates are approximate?
  2. Instructions for the form state that "Documentation of traffic incidents only if the incident: 1. Involved alcohol or drugs; 2. Led to an arrest; or 3. Seriously injured another person." So the instruction implies applicants do not need to document minor traffic violations, e.g., getting pulled over and being let go with a warning. But question 15b on N-400 asks "Have you EVER been arrested, cited, or detained by any law enforcement officer...?" Do applicants then need to document minor traffic violations per question 15b?
  3. I'm an Indian citizen about to start my naturalization process and I have a few general questions. 1. Can anyone confirm that this is the step by step process? https://www.uscis.gov/citizenship/learn-about-citizenship/10-steps-to-naturalization 2. For cases that aren't complicated (I expect mine to be a straightforward application), do you still recommend any assistance from an immigration lawyer? 3. I may want to travel to India after starting the application process. Can anyone confirm that this would be OK as long as I carry documents (passport, green card, etc.), continue to meet continuous residency requirements, and don't miss appointments? Thanks.
