Just to close the loop....I had my Oath on 25th and got my passport on 26th. I guess this will be my last post on here. Goodluck to anyone else that might be still waiting.

Had my interview today. Very smooth process and super nice officer. Now waiting for oath. 

Interview scheduled for Jan 9th 2018. Does anyone know typically how weeks between interview and Oath in Dallas?

I received emails and texts that my(and my DW's) interview has been and scheduled and letter mailed just now. I'll wait for the mail to update the interview date. Excited!

Got my interview date.. 14 DEC 2017... my PD is 11/10/16 ... So it's 1 full year for Dallas.  I hope i don't get any cancellation letter before the interview. Few people from Dallas did get one just before interview. also, Hopefully every one else get theirs soon. too. I am just comin back on 13 DEC.. Close call... will take a risk.. and save my 500$, on flight reschedule.

Congratulations!! You give hope to a lot of Dallasites here.

Couple of folks I know(one through another friend) applied in Sept 2016 and they received interview letters in Dallas in the last week. May be we are couple of months away now.

No update from me but it looks like some dallas oct filers received oath letters?

Just finished my Infopass appointment and the lady mentioned that all by background checks have been completed since may and just waiting for a slot to be available. She also mentioned that they are 10 officers down since early sunmer(promoted or quit) and are in the process of hiring. This is also slowing down the process so far it seems.

I  got an infopass appointment for tomorrow(8/8). Hope to get more information then. I guess I should ask for what stage my application is in right? I'm afraid if they say currently Dallas office is working on July cases, I don't have a follow up question.

I notice that none of the Oct filers that already had interview in June or July...no oath letters for any of them either. Can't even get infopass appointment as they are full. God knows what's going on!!

While I'm glad to hear the good news for so many, it is very disheartening that not one at least one person from Dallas office received at least an interview letter. If not the members on this forum, has anyone at least  heard any cases from friends or friend's friends or friend's friend's friends from Dallas office receive interview letters? Of course, I'm talking about November filers.

No updates from any of the dallas folks? Wonder what's going on...

But she said Dallas office will request November filers files from NBC soon, and i should be one of them. Not sure how much truth is in her statements. But gives me some hope, that i am not lost in their system.

 

There were around 200 people for oath today, and was told that more than 28000 applications are pending at Dallas office and only handful of officers are available to adjudicate them. People at oath filed a year ago.

It looks like mos of Oct filers from Dallas got the interview letters by now -- I know someone who filed in Jan 2017 got the Interview letter as well --

Hoping to see some progress this week...fingers crossed
