So what do you all think of about a 3 month courtship time until filing the petition and my being 15 years older then he is. Met on a mission trip and have many things in common, goals, plans in spite of the age difference. I have been wondering if they were going to look at it weirdly.

I got an RFE Monday.

Just wondering generally how long it takes to receive the RFE in the mail.

I didn't even get a email when my status was changed, got an RFE, not what I was hoping for but at least it's not lost in space I guess. And I am signed up for notifications also.

And if you call they don't know anything more than that, I got the same message today.

I hadn't gotten one for two months and they have just sent me a RFE, it's updated sometimes on the USCIS website and you may not always get an email. Frustrating I know.

When I filed the packet, I filed the old form, the thing was that I filled it out in the week it was changed, the day after I submitted the packet, I saw there was a new form so I re-filled it out and sent it with a letter. My service center was Nebraska but transferred to CSC. So I'm thinking it may be the IMBRA thing and that's what I wanted to find out. Just wondering if I could call and find anything out. I just got the posting today on USCIS that they sent me an RFE.

I'm sure many have asked this before, but I finally have a notice an RFE was sent. Is you call the CSC unhelpful service line, do they have any information on what the RFE is requesting?? Thanks for any help you can give me. This process has made me crazier than I was before I started. The unknown is unbearable.

Finally figured out how to use this site. I got a touch on Sept 20. First I've received since I sent the petition.

The process is driving me nuts and I'm addicted to this site even though I think it makes things worse for me.

Anyway, I haven't heard a thing since I sent it.
