  1. Hey guys,

We just recently got approved at the UCIS (NOA2),

How long is it currently taking more or less for me to be notified with an interview date in Manila?

I really want to start planning the wedding, and so I was wondering how many weeks it generally takes after the NOA2 for the consulate to give us an interview date,

    Thanks,

and I wish success for all

  2. Thanks for everone's encouragment and advice throught my journey in this K1 process...

Its not over yet, at least one part is over with..

I just want to get her Interview date soon so i can start planning everything..

Do you know more or less what the wait time is on at least getting the date of her manila interview?

    Take care everyone

  3. Oh thank I God for all his help we are finally approved!

I can't beleive it! I was so depressed last night about not being with my fiance, then I wake up to check my email to find 3 emails from the UCIS saying our petition was approved!

    I was an October 12th NOA1

God bless The California service center!

I wish everyone the best of luck with their peteitions, and everyone that filed in october, I would say that your time is coming very soon.

I hope everyone gets a nice present this year that can only warm the heart

    Take care everyone!!

  4. Yeah,

I went two times to see her,

In feb 2006, and just recently in September 2006.

The durian tasted bad the first trip, but the second trip it was delecious.

Its funny, coz I've never seen a fruit or any piece of food light up a girl's eyes like a durian!

You would think chocolates would be something to jump for! Not with my girl! :D

She's actually at the CFO seminar right now!

Yeah, those pins and needles are getting sharper by the minute!

  5. Thanks guys,

I really appreciate your opinions on this.

My girl is getting her CFO (commission of filipino overseer) at this moment now in Cebu, and she noticed this and called me up.

roymcn3rd, did your fiance get her passport yet? If I may ask, how was her interview when she went to the seminar to get the certificate for her passport? I'm on pins and needles as she is there right now and we just discovered this error

    thanks again

  6. Thanks,

I mean, I sent them the plane ticket stub copies, and they have my passport stamps that show when I arrived and when I left in feb 2006

I just put on the intent to marry form that we met in feb 2005, not 2006. I'm an idiot

don't lose any sleep over it. I don't think it's that big of a problem.

My fiancee is also from Davao.

    Thanks,

I can't help but lose sleep over it. It's killing me not seeing her, I miss her so much. I'm just afraid this stupid mistake will arouse suspicion, and generate an RFE and delay it even more.

Suppose worst case scanario, and they request more evendence, how long will this delay my approval?

Sorry for being so paranoid, I am kicking myself for making such a stupid mistake.

  7. Thanks for everyone's quick replies,

So should I worry about this?

I put that we met online in may 2005, but then we physically met in feb 2005...

They have proof that I met her by means of my passport stamps and my plane tickets,

I know the embassy will try to find everything wrong with my fiance to deny her in Manila,

But at the UCIS, are they "instilled" to deny everything for every possible reason "Yet"?

My fiance is also from Davao

  8. Hello everyone,

I've just realized that after I sent my paperwork to the UCIS, I put the wrong year on my Marriage Affidavit when me and my fiance met.

I put 2005 instead of 2006. I just want to shoot myself for making such a stupid mistake. I paid my immigration lawyer close to 2,000 bucks, and he didn't ieven catch my stupid mistake..

My question is, what is the process of submitting the Marriage Affidavit with the correct date on it? If I submit the updated Marriage Affidavit to the UCIS, will that put me in the back of the line again since I recieved my 1st NOA on october 12th?

I filed in the Nebraska center which of course got forwarded to the California service center

I appreciate everyones response on this,

    May God bless everyone here,

    Take care
