    I see there are still people people from May waiting for the NVC to issue a case number. I am in the same situation. The I-797 was generated 5/10/23 and is valid till 9/9/23. I have sent two inquiries and receive a canned response saying "Your petition is now waiting for data entry into our systems. Since your case is not in our systems yet, we cannot make updates." if anyone has any suggestions on how to get traction on this please share.

    Maybe I am looking in the wrong place for this topic but are other people experiencing delays with the NVC? My I-797 was issued on 5/10/23 and according to the document is valid till 9/9/23. I have reached out to the NVC on two occasions and I am told via email "Your petition is now waiting for data entry into our systems. Since your case is not in our systems yet, we cannot make updates." The NVC web site says they are working on mid-July files.... Needless to say, the lack of information on my case is frustrating.

    I have been wondering the same. Takes an act of congress to speak with a live a person.
