You just need to submit another online change of address. You could also call the customer service line and perhaps request that they disregard the first one.

Will there be any problem in my parents interview if i submit new form? They havent taken interview date

  2. Hey guys thanks for the info on last post. I submitted ds160 for my mother and father and they havent scheduled any interview date. The problem is i have wrote that address to which i was supposed to move after few days coz m paying more rent on my current address. When you go thru to the immigration brief he will ask

    Where do you work?

Who do ubhave to return to?

Basically any tie to america is a red flag!!!

The immigration officer doesn't care why yi u want to come to America just your reasons to return to your country. So any tie to a merica is a red flag...show that you have a life in your country and a reason to return is strong

Not me my parents. M already in usa. They have properties, family back their other son grand child live there

Do they have pensions? How do they make money? You need to show proof of that. Plus, the property they own.

Are you a US citizen or a permanent resident?

They have land. They dnt have pension or anything like that. M permanent residence.

Basically, show proof of land and home ownership. Pay stubs for work and other thing that would prove they're returning.

Actually they dont work. they are 58 and 61 years of old. they have property in Nepal.

They will each have to submit their own DS-160.

They should take whatever evidence that they can to show that they have strong ties to return home after the trip. The officers always assume that someone will try to overstay (especially if they have relatives in the US), so your parents will have to try to do whatever they can to demonstrate that they have a strong reason to return home. This can include things like demonstrating that they own land/property, a letter from an employer stating that they are expected to return for work by date X, etc.

NO. Your documents etc are useless.

Let them take whatever they want to the interview that is theirs.

whatever they want means what type of documents??? they are not much educated so i have to tell them abt everything....

It will not help them.  It could be seen as you trying to demonstrate that you will support them long term here in US.  Your best advise is to let them apply using their own ties to their country.

thanks for the reply. what else documents they have to take to show that they can sponcer themself? and what are the proofs which shows that they have strong ties with their home country? give me some advice please.

  9. at least i can send them my documents right from my pay stubs to tax papers, bank statements etc. my father got 1 paper from government office which states that he got 4 land worth more than 80,00,000Npr that means 80,000$.  is that enough for my mother and father? what else documents should they take? there are many websites which says you need to file i-134 affidavit of support. thanks guys for the reply.

No such think, they show their own finances, an I 134 is a big minus in getting a visitor visa.

i dont know what should i do. i am sending my every documents, pay stubs, tax papers, bank statements to my parents. i have around like 5-6000$ with me. and they are taking their papers, if necessary they will show their finance. my father have arround like 80,000$ worth of land which is in his name. he is taking that paper with him.  while looking on websites it says you need to file i-134 affidavit of support. so i am filling the form as i am giving every description abt my finance.

  11. what should i write on i-134 affidavit of support?

i am sponcering both my father and mother. what should i write on this part?

I have previously submitted affidavit of support to following person. should i write father's name on Mother's form and Mother's name on father's form?

  12. ya they have some property in their name in Nepal like farm land, house, and their Grand son, grand daughter, daughter in law satys with them. They havent travelled  any other country. And one more thing, Do i need to take travel insurance for them? is it possib;lle to take insurance in Usa before they have interview?

A visitors visa requires evidence that the applicants have significant ties to their home country and will retun to their home country after their visit finishes.. There is no such thing as sponsoring a visitors visa. They must apply themselves. You can pay for their tickets,e tc, have them stay with you while they are here....... but they must prove strong ties to their home country . How can i prove that my parents have ties in your home country?  any best reason that they can say on interview? they are 59 and 60+ of age
