  1. This is a very good question.

For #37 of the DS-156, the question is: Are any of the following persons in the US? (it is reworded to ask the question differently) or Do they have US Citizenship? Mark yes or no... (This question is solely to idently the U.S Citizens and has nothing to do with identifying the Visa Applicant(s)).

ANSWER: The only person from the US and who has US Citizenship is of course the U.S. Citizen (USC). Therefore, for the K1 Visa, please check yes to the left of where the fiance/fiancee is located (circle the appropriate title for the USC) and put U.S. Citizen in the space provided to the right. For the remaining boxes, please check off no and put "NONE" in the space provided to the right.

    Cheers!!!

    Sheriff Uling

Thank you Ahmari for you patience with these crazy questions. And as Roy and Yazi said because her son is not my fiance then i would select "no" for that but "yes" for Relyn.

And I'm still looking for clarification on listing her ex anywhere on the forms as spouse or former spouse.....its just aggrivating to list him as spouse in any form even if divorced or annuled.

    A return CHEERS to all,

    Patrick

  2. I'm surprised that no one has made a post about Journey's new lead singer Arnel Pineda. He is a Filipino who was discovered on youtube.com by the founder and musician in the band.

This guy is simply awesone. Pinoy Pride Baby.... Yeah!!!

    Cheers!!!

I JUST SAW THE VIDEO. THANKS SHERIFF FOR SHARING HERE. THAT WAS AN EMOTIONAL INTERVIEW THEY GAVE. IT REALLY SAYS IT ALL WHEN IT WAS SAID "ARNEL MAKES ME A BETTER PERSON". WITH WHAT HE WENT THROUGH AND HOW HE GOT TO THAT PHONE CALL, SINGING FOR IMMIGRATION, AND LEAD SINGER FOR ONE OF THE GREATEST BANDS IN HISTORY. THATS MAGIC.

WOW......NO KIDDING. JOURNEY IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE BANDS. EVEN MORE A FAN NOW!

  4. Hello Patrick and Relyn .. .

That form with 04/30/07 expiration is what we used. It is still acceptable as per their website.

Good luck to your interview :star:

THANK YOU FOR THE "GOOD LUCK". ITS INCREDIBLE THAT THREE YEARS OF WAITING IS COMING TO AN END. AND A YEAR OF NOT BEING WITH MY BABY. WOW.

I HATE PUTTING HER FORMER SPOUSE ON THOSE FORMS AS SPOUSE EVEN THOUGH ANNULED. ITS ON BOTH 156K AND 156. THAT MARRIAGE IS GONE SO I DON'T KNOW WHY I HAVE TO INCLUDE HIS NAME ANYWHERE ON THESE FORMS.

  5. GREETINGS ALL,

FIRST THANK YOU SHERIFF ULING FOR ANSWER ON MY I-134. IT WAS CLEAR AFTER YOU GAVE ME THE WINDEX.

I HAVE A NEW QUESTION THIS TIME ON THE DS-156:

    37. ARE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING PERSONS IN THE U.S. BLAH BLAH BLAH

DO I CHECK YES AND CIRCLE FIANCE AND PUT USC IN THE SPOT FOR "FIANCE/FIANCEE"?

AND WHAT ABOUT HER SON......IM NOT SURE WHAT TO PUT THERE ON HIS DS-156.

IT SEEMS LIKE THEY LIKE TO TRY TO TRICK YOU ON THESE FORMS SUCH AS WHAT TO PUT ON QUESTION 17---PUT SPOUSES NAME EVEN IF DIVORCED OR SEPARATED....IM PUTTING NONE. IF ANNULED OR DIVORCED IT IS NOT A SPOUSE!! AM I RIGHT?

IN RELYN'S CASE SHE COMPLETED THE ANNULMENT PROCESS.

  6. If you re-visit the USCIS website, the I-134 version that expires on 04/30/2007 is acceptable and downloadable [CLICK HERE]. Yes, please, please, please enter your fiancee and her son's names for question #10, and as far as relatioship portion of the question, you can put Ms (Last Name)'s Son, Reyln's son, her son, future step-son, or whatever best describes the current relationship. The reason for question # 10 IMO is to identify and validate that you have submitted an approved visa petition for your fiance and her son in preparation for the K1 and K2 Visas.

    Cheers!!!

    Sheriff Uling

Does the date submitted portion on Q 10 pertains to the date when we filed it or when the USCIS actually received it?thanks

I COULD BE WRONG BECOZ I HAVENT PRESENTED YET AT OUR INTERVIEW BUT THAT IS WHAT I PUT........TO BE MORE EXACT THE RECEIPT DATE ON THE NOA1 FOR I-129F.

  7. I have been trying to find a I-134 that doesnt say it expires 4/30/2007. Its at the top of every I-134 i find. Am i crazy?

    Also i have question regarding

    10. I have submitted a visa petition(s) to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) on behalf of the following person(s). If none, state none.

i put Relyn ( fiance) first right?

then i put her son next right.......what is the relationship? do i say "her son".

    thanks to all,

    Patrick

  8. That means I will have to pay for me, my son and my daughter: $131 x 3 = $393 :crying:

  9. That means I will have to pay for me, my son and my daughter: $131 x 3 = $393 :crying:

I already paid $131. Thank you Patrick and Relyn for bringing this up.

yes dear, you will need to pay for your son and daughter... pareha ta oi.. pati sa visa delivery separate payment kau,... and since you are still going for medical, don't forget that you will also need to pay fpr your kids separately... MALAKING GASTOS LOLA!!! Kaya nga september na lang kami alis para mura ticket and makabawi konti, awang-awa na ako sa big bear ko, buti sana if may trabaho agad ako pagdating doon.

THIS LOVE IS INDEED VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY EXPENSIVE! But as what my big bear says, it is worth every penny. :luv:

hi gay salamat sa post nalibog jud ko kay abi nako walay labot ang bata ambot malaki talaga gastos apil pa ang plane ticket, congrats sa visa mo ang bilis lang

The visa application fee applies to both visa applicants. So explicitly, yes. You will be applying for a K1 for yourself, which requires and application fee, and a K2, which also requires an application fee. Thanks for the question. I will add an explicate statement so that it is clearly indicate within Section 2.2 of the Manila Embassy K1 Visa Guide during my next update soon.

    Cheers!!!

    Sheriff Uling

    thanks sheriff

  10. Relyn and I are wondering at this point if we have to pay the fee for visa application X 2. One for her and one for our son. Since his name is included on application as minor son and will accompany her I think its just the single fee for the one application. I havent been able to find this information in definitive fashion.

    Thanks,

    Patrick
