No worries! It's a great news that they've received it. Just keep calling, it takes some time to review and generate the case number. Remember, patience is the key in this process. Believe me, my husband and I've been there so we know exactly what you guys are going through but it will pass don't worry. Stay positive! Good luck!!!

I've got a welcome letter in the email from NVC that they have received my file. Haven't got anything in the mail tho. And yes try calling them, they'll let you know about your case status and if they got ur file already then they can provide your case number as well, so you can start with Ds-261 and paying bills. Also, start gathering your AOS and IV documents. Ask me anytime if you have any questions or need help. Good luck

Congratulations to the people who got approved and the ones who r still waiting, u'll get yours soon👍🏼.
so, i just got an email saying that there has been an update on the USCIS for my case is approved and they send my file to the NVC today. However, i've got my approval letter two weeks ago saying that they approved my case on Sep 1st,2017 and send my case to the NVC. So i m really confused. Does this mean they just send the file today or they were just lazy and updated it today?

They r working on March for USC for sure. Unfortunetly, the USCIS website doesn't update as much as it needs too and sometimes they provide wrong info by mistake or no we don't know. But, do consider this visajourney website bcoz they r pretty accurate and it's based on the real people's info who go through the same process. So u guys who r still waiting, just be strong and don't loose hope coz it's gonna be ur turn soon. Believe me, i've been there.

and people who r still waiting, hang in there...Yours is on its way.
I got my approval letter on March 9th and waiting for NVC's response. Does anyone know how the NVC notify u? I mean by mail or email bcoz the USCIS website is still not updated and still says the case was received so how can u know if they've received your case or not?

i just got my approval letter in the mail today. I m so so so happy 😬.

Approval date - sep 1st,2017 and got the mail today, sep 10th, 2017.
Texas Service center.
Good luck to the rest of u who r still waiting👍🏼 Believe me, yours is on the way. Plus, the prediction of my approval date on Visa journey was pretty accurate.

That's great. You did give them your email tho right? Because sometimes they send the welcome letter via email only as in my case. So, if you didn't plz do so.
