  1. hi guys,

my asawa has been here almost 1 year now.. heaving on earth.. she is kind, loving, caring, everything a man would want. now heres the problem.. her son, who is 5 years old is spoiled. WE hardly get any alone time. He doesnt mind and no ..to him.. is the end of world. He expects when he calls mother, regardless of whats she is doing,,she should come running. most of the time she does. i tell her this is feeding his ways and doing him no good. he still wants to sleep with us and wakes up several times a night and its beginning to drain me. his mother thinks there is nothing wrong but i see it. if he doesnt get his way he falls in the floor and kicks and screams...until she gives in. i tell her to let him kick and sceam till he quits. i just think something needs to be done. any advice is appreciated.

the kicking and screaming will only last until he finds out it wont work anymore...IMHO

i agree... i have a 3 year old who is trying exactly the same thing....the way i deal with it is to just ignore his behaviour and carry on as normal. as soon as he realises he isnt gonna get his own way he soon calms down. if the behaviour is rewarded and they get what they want they will carry on as they know it works in the end! its hard to just ignore but believe me after a while the tantrums soon come to a halt.

  2. our children where born here in the uk.... we also sent in the birth cetificates with both our names on... but we stilll recieved and rfe for more evidence... we are also using an attourney and he told us that what we sent would be ample... so you see you just never know what to expect!!

You received an RFE for evidence that was not required to be submitted with the original petition?

yes the rfe was for my birth certificate ( beneficiary) and our kids full birth certificates with both our names on for proof that he had been in the uk with me when our kids where registered

  3. Anyone here have a child overseas? I only included the minimum amount of evidence, few pictures, passport stamps and airline stubs as proof of relation but I also have a Thai Birth Certificate for my Daughter with all three of our names on it. As well as a "Consular Report of Birth" with all our names on it. I assumed that this was about as much proof as I should need. I mean its irrefutable. Anyone disagree?

    Just wondering.

One other question.... When I look at the processing timeline at (https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/Processtimes.jsp?SeviceCenter=California)

It tells me they are working on apps from April? Yet I see that some have NOA2 in 8 weeks or so.

What the hell does this site mean?

    Thanks.

  4. we have used an attourney for the process and i can tell you that it hasnt been any quicker than any of the people on here in fact i would say it takes that little bit longer as our rfe was sent to the attourney first then to us , and the same sending it back this site is so useful i wish i had seen it before doing our application as i would probably been approved sooner!

  5. welshpete

we have been seperated since jan this year and although i find it hard my fiance is theone who is really suffering , we have 2 young kids aged 2-1 so it is hard for him to not be there when his kids are here . we talk twice a day onthe phone and i send him pics all the time of the kids, the way i deal with things is by thinking that i have waited this long so its just got to be over soon then we can be happy together as a family

  6. CONGRATS TO YOU!!

JASAL, I AM ALSO AN AUGUST FILER AND HAVE NOT YET RECIEVD MY NOA2,BUT WE CAN STILL JOIN ALL THE OTHER COUPLES IN THEIR HAPPINESS AS IM SURE THAT ALL THESE APROVALS MUST MEAN THAT SOONER OR LATER OUR CASES WILL BE APPROVED, HOPEFULLY SOONER RATHER THAN LATER AS I HAVE BEEN "TOUCHED" FOR THE LAST 3 DAYS! IM ALSO SURE THAT TO EVERYONE IN THESE SITUATIONS THE WAIT IS THE SAME NOMATTER HOW LONG OR SHORT IT MAYBE, I HAVE NOT SEEN MY FIANCE SINCE JAN AND HE HASNT SEEN OUR KIDS SINCE THEN OUR YOUNGEST WONT EVEN KNOW HIS DADDY AS HE IS ONLY JUST A YR OLD SO BELEIVE ME I KNOW ABOUT WAITING! AND FOR SOME IT IS GOOD TO READ THE POSTS ON HERE AND CONSIDER IT AS SUPPORT BY JUST KNOWING THAT WE ARE ALL IN A SIMILAR SITUATION.
