Right now the wait for an interview in CDJ is taking over 9 months after your case is completed with NVC if the petitioner is a USC. If the petitioner is a Resident they go off your Priority Date. Have you received any notice from NVC that you are in line for interview yet?

cc Sept 12, 2018. Hoping for an interview before July🙏🤞

Right now it is taking over 9 months for an interview in Ciudad Juarez. Last week they finally finished scheduling interviews for cases completed with NVC in April 2018 for January dates. They have been assigning interviews for April cases for 6 months. I also saw a few May cc dates receive interview dates in January also. Hopefully they are able to pick up the pace. If it takes 6 months to get through one month of closed cases the back log will be extremely long. We have cc date of Sept 12, 2018. I am really hoping to get a summer interview date.

Wow! Nvc received your approval notice quickly. We also sent everything in back in April and were only missing the i601a approval. We have been approved since 8/30 but they still have not completed our case. What was your secret? Did you call them? Congratulations!!🎉
Hi. I thought it was fast too and nothing has gone fast for us in this process!!! I wasn't expecting to see anything but I looked at my case status on NVC site and it said at NVC. I was shocked so I called NVC and the gentleman verified that it was completed today, 9-12-18

HI. I just wanted to share that our I601a dates.
Received 2-8-18 in Nebraska
Fingerprints were done April 5, 2018
Approved 9-6-2018. We received the notice on 9-10-2018 in the regular mail. The online status never changed. We had already submitted all docs to NVC in March, so our Case was completed with NVC as of 9-12-2018. Now we are just waiting for our interview date in Ciudad Juarez Mexico.!!

Hi
Our I601a was received in Nebraska Feb 8, 2018. I have seen a handful of approvals and office transfers from Feb cases. Hopefully approvals will start rolling in!!!

Hi! We sent our I601a on Feb 6. It was delivered on Feb 8. We received email and text on Feb 24 stating the case was in Nebraska. When I check on USCIS it says Fingerprint Fee accepted on Feb 23. Then finally on March 24 we received the fingerprint appt for April 5. I am so anxious to see an approval from Nebraska!!!! It is killing me not to even have a timeline to compare to since these cases just started going to Nebraska. Our NVC packet was delivered yesterday. And this weekend I am making my husband get the DS260 done.

Hi everyone ! I just received a mail with my appointment date for the biometrics ( 3/16/18 ) I’m happy things are moving along! But does anyone know how long after that will it take for me to get my appt in Juarez?
Thank you so much in advance!
That's great. What is your PD date on the i601a? Which office are you in?

How long after I 130 appoval did you send your waiver in? I have everything ready, just need to receive my NOA2 now... I really really hope it won’t be 8 months😞😞😞 I have seen a lot of approvals already for August filers from YSC. I really hope mine will be coming soon. Since I have an emergency situation back home, I just want to submit my waiver, do biometrics and leave...😞
So on Dec 22, 2017, I received text and email that our case was sent to Dept of State(we were at Potomac also). The next week I received the notice that the actual approval date was Dec 18. January 16, 2018 we were finally in NVC system and I received the case # and invoice number. I made the DS261(notice of agent) and paid the AOS fee that day. The IV fee wasn't available to be paid until Jan 25. I ended up mailing the Waiver on Feb 6 two day and it was delivered on Feb 8!!

No not yet! Its been 6 months since I got my NOA1, so I am just waiting to receive a NOA2 any day now(🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻), so I could submit my I 601a waiver...I am very anxious now....I really hoped to get an answer on my waiver in 4-6 months...
Oh Ok. We waited 8 months for the I130 approval in Potomac Center when they were averaging 5 months. That was the longest, most helpless feeling months, wondering why ours was taking so much longer than average. But it finally arrived! Then with NVC things moved fast paying the AOS and IV fees, now back to waiting on USCIS.

Oh no!!!! Will that delay the process? I know NBC was processing I 601a waivers in 4-6 months!!! Nebraska is slow Service Center 😞😞😞
I really hope not. I am so anxious not even having an estimate on processing time. Do you have an I601a submitted?

So, our i601a was mailed out 2/8 and received on 2/12. How long does it take for them to send the receipt notice and cash the check? Our lawyer sent it to the Chicago lockbox.
HI
We mailed our I601a on Feb 6 it was delivered on Feb 8. We didn't hear anything until Feb 24. We received text and email stating our case was received with our new case # in Nebraska. The check cleared our bank acct on 2/26. We haven't received the actual notice in the mail yet. Hopefully soon.

HI everyone! Our case was at Potomac with a PD of April 19. I received text message and an email today stating there has been an update to our case and to check the online case status for more information. When I checked the status had changed from case received to case was sent to department of state on 12-22-2017. Potomac center averages 5-6 months but we waited over 8 months. I have not received an approval notice via mail yet. Those from April and May still waiting, it is coming. Keep the faith.

Finally got my approval 12/04/17. Literally one week after after I filed a service request by a tier 2 officer, I received a note that my case was assigned to an adjudicator. One week after that approval. Stay strong.
Congratulations!! That is great news. I called twice this week to try to speak with a tier 2 again.(I've called twice for a TIer 2 since September) The first time the recording said the wait time was 6 mins. I never received a call back. The next day I called again and the wait was 62 mins. I never got a call back. I was able to do a case inquiry again on the USCIS website. I already did one case inquiry on Nov 6 with a response that our case was in line to be reviewed. Our PD date is April 19 at Potomac. So frustrating to not know why our case was skipped. Most April cases were approved back in September. I'm going to try again first thing Monday morning.

"I feel the same way. We are PD 4-19. I have done a case inquiry and spoke to Tier 2 officer and the response was the same. We are in line to be reviewed. That's it. Happy for all the approvals but sad feeling like we should have been approved 2 months ago"
When did you file your service request? and have you heard anything back yet? They told me I would receive a letter in 2 weeks or so. Do you know what we're supposed to do if they get to July and our cases haven't even been adjudicated yet?
Stricky
I did a case inquiry through the USCIS website where you can check your case status and chose that my case is out of processing time at the beginning of Nov. I then received an email that said I should have a response in 30 days. About a week later I received another email that says my case is in line for review and they can not guarantee a time frame. Last week I called and spoke with a Tier 2 and she could only tell me what the email said, that we are in line for review. I tried to do another case inquiry but am not able to since it has been less than 30 days since my last case inquiry. The way I understand is there really is nothing else you can do until the processing time that USCIS claims it is processing has passed.

Finally called and got a tier 2 officer that was some what helpful. I have a May 23 priority date at Potomac center. I called and she informed me that my case had not yet been assigned to an officer from what she could tell, and that she was going to file a service request for my case. She said that right now Potomac is filing for June 1st! I don't know how I got left behind. I understand that I'm lucky to be at Potomac when others have longer waits at the dreaded Nebraska and Texas. Still, it is so frustrating to feel so close and then watch the train pass you by.
I feel the same way. We are PD 4-19. I have done a case inquiry and spoke to Tier 2 officer and the response was the same. We are in line to be reviewed. That's it. Happy for all the approvals but sad feeling like we should have been approved 2 months ago

I sent a case inquiry earlier this month and received the same response minus the last part about the employment authorization. Our pd is April 19, 2017 at Potomac. Last week I called and spoke to a Tier 2 official and all she could tell me was exactly what the email response to the case inquiry said, that we are in line to be reviewed. I am way past frustrated.

Hey guys....my I-130 petition has been approved!! I just got an email saying "Case was sent to the Department of State" for visa processing. Amazing!! I checked my tracker and also account and it says the same thing. I don't know when they approved the case because I called last week Wednesday and I was told by tier 2 officer that my case was still pending and they asked if I wanted a service request done and I said yes. On Monday I noticed my account had been updated saying a service request had been assigned to an officer October 31, 2017. Today about 1:20pm EST I get an email saying my case has been sent to Department of State. Maybe I will have a letter when I get home. I would like to know when it was approved.
PD: April 19
Potomac Service Center
Wishing everyone still waiting all the best and patience (I know its frustrating....the wait is not easy on the marriage. I have been so depressed).
We are April 19 at Potomac Service Center also. I hope we hear something soon.. Congratulations

Hi! For anyone that has spoken with a tier 2 official, how did you get case information from them? I called today and asked to speak with a tier 2 and was transferred. I had to leave a message and 2 1/2 hrs later I received a call back but she didn't help any. She simply told me that potomac is processing Feb 20 2017 and I have to realize it will be 2-3 months before they get to April cases. I tried pressing for more information stating that cases with dates closes to mine and after have been approved. She said well lucky them. We are talking about your case and if anything changes you will be notified by mail. Soooooo disappointing

It is usually about 1 week before the date on the notice from NVC. You can always call NVC and they can tell you the exact date
