USCIS processing tables are not reliable. This has been proven over time. Fist it is not updated reqularly (Potomac service center is still updated as of May 31). Second, I am not sure how they calculate their last processed petition date. However, you can use Visajourney's processing times for similar petitions to have a good idea where these centers are really at.

For ex, as of yesterday some Potomac petitioners who filed toward the end of April have been approved. So May filers should hear from this center this month. As far as California, their record is kinda spotty, but I have seen some Feb and March approvals.

Very frustrating, and I hope this immigration system is fixed, meanwhile try to be patient. Easy to say but I have been through all that stuff once before.

Yes i feel the same. thanks for the reply

We'are in the same boat. I just checked csc processing time they're still working aug 23 2016 . Have you tried calling them?

Yes i called them last month and they were saying that typically it takes 6 months to process i-130. but right now they cannot confirm when it will be processed and approved.

Moreover i dont understand this Aug 23 2016 date. i am monitoring this from last 5 to 6 months and its stuck on Aug 23 2016. :(:(

You welcome... your uscis can get approved within that date.  How ever your nvc can take another 2 months or a little over.  That's if they don't demand for ref, if they do might take another 1 to 2 months... after this your case will be sent to the embassy in your country.  So there is a possibility of you getting your interview date in December if all goes fast.  And if the center processing your file moves faster

What is ref?  request for information ?

    thanks

Once again don't follow any of those information about when it will be done.... And you are welcome.... with nvc, looking at the people who had their interview since last year till date... the nvc is about 2 months to 3.... the longest of the process is with the uscis. Which is about 5 months to 6... hopefully my December you should have an interview date..

Thank you so much once again for your response.

and you mean my i130 can get approve between october17 to nov17 and i can get the interview date in december 2017?

Hi... don't follow this bulletin or processing time they have not been updated.... well for May we hope to get the uscis approval before October ends.... how ever here is a smart thing to do... start getting the nvc requirements ready so when they ask for it you don't have to start running around for it. E.g. 2016 tax .... And other nvc related documents... But after the uscis other folks who have gone through the process say it is about 2 months that's if you don't get a ref before it gets to The embassy

Thanks the reply. i will collect the documents before hand, thats a good idea. Moreover Can i have an idea when the whole process can get done if everything will go well. ?

i use this website to check http://www.myprioritydate.com/

for f2a and as per my priority date its saying it will get current in April, 2019:(:( . is it really gonna take this much long ?

  6. Hello Everyone,

I need little help, i am green card holder. i got married in Feb 2017 and i filled i130(new version) for my wife in May 2017.

My service center is California, i got the receipt number and priority date(Mid of May) in 1st notice.

Can anyone please help me out how to calculate the total time which service center and NVC will take to process the case, i can see on service center processing page my category is stuck on Permanent resident filling for a spouse or child under 21  "August 23, 2016".

Moreover how it can relate to VISA bulletin. there are two things there

1-> FINAL ACTION DATES FOR FAMILY-SPONSORED     PREFERENCE CASES which is 22OCT15 ( what is that, can anyone explain me please)

2 -> DATES FOR FILING FAMILY-SPONSORED     VISA APPLICATIONS which is 01NOV16( what is that, can anyone explain me please)

is there a way by which i can calculate and estimate that when my wife can get a immigration visa from all these number?
