We got married in a mosque, 2 witnesses and the Imam (who was authorized to do legal marriages), we never had a wedding, and it wasn't even brought up at our AOS interview. We got married in the US, so I don't know if that is different.

This whole DVD thing is disturbing to me. We only had 2 friends and a judge at our apartment when we got married.Needless to say NO DVD!
Our marriage is still legal and we still love each other just the same... so what does all this mean?
I have about 1200 pics from 45 days of living over there and I fly out again next week for another 3 week stay (from which there will be another big stack of pics because we both enjoy taking them so much!). If I thought the big album would fit under the window, believe me, I would show up at our interview with EVERY picture we have ever taken! Guess I will just take the best ones!
Oh and I am copying a page from every online encounter we have had since we met... and that is at least one a day since Sept 2008. As well as the phone bills. There will be stacks of proof of this relationship!

Hi,
We had a problem after reformatting the computer - Magic Jack would hang saying it was updating. It wasn't able to access the internet - I think something to do with Menara.
This is what I did and it works again:
Go to http://www.magicjack.com/5/fixes.asp
Click on "click here for fix" and run program.
That was it. But if your problem is different, don't do this because they have a warning for the download saying it can damage your software install if you aren't experiencing a specific problem....
Anyway, ours is back to normal. Good luck.

does anyone know of any good airline sites? also i heard that there is some countries in europe that wont allow peopel to come thru on k-1 visas and will send them back, anyone know of this and if so what those counties are? is germany or italy one of those countries? thanks for any help you can give me. -
We *tried* to do early biometrics on Tuesday - the ASC people were very nice, and had no problem that we came in early - however, some of the fingers weren't printing well - dry skin or something - so we will probably have to go back...now starting intensive daily moisturizing to get ready for next time!

I just found out about the new rule for the FBI namecheck (we have been waiting 1.5 years). I was going to make an Infopass appointment to find out what was going on, but I decided I would call first. I finally figured out how to get to a person on the 800 number from a website (USCIS (the INS) 800-375-5283 After selecting English, (with a 2 second delay between) 2 6 2 4), the guy asked me lots of questions, asked to speak to my husband to verify that he was present (I am the petitioner), then said he was transferring me to someone else who could take the next step (he talked really fast so I don't know who/what exactly he transferred me to). I then talked to another lady who said it looked like my case should be processed according to the new rules, while I was on the line she sent a message to my local office, and the next day I recieved the email notice saying that card production had been ordered. After all this stress and waiting I can't quite believe that it was so easy, so I'll believe it for sure when I get the card in the mail.

Ugh! EXACTLY what I didn't want to read, I read today when opening mail from USCIS. In response to my call on March 10th, they looked into our case. The letter recieved today states -"The status of this service request is:
Based on your request we researched the status of this case. We are actively processing this case. However, we have to preform additional review on this case and this has caused a longer processing time. If you do not recieve a decision or other notice of action from us within 6 months of this letter, please call customer service at the number provided below"
Ok first off, what the heck do they mean by performing addtional reviews?!?! We were clearly told by the woman giving the interview that as soon as the FBI name check cleared, she would approve us. Please tell me that's what they're getting at. I read on here someone recieved a letter stating they were waiting on their background check and since ours doesn't clearly state that as well...makes me a bit nervous. And as far as waiting 6 months...I think not! Today is day 133 since our interview. You bet ur a$$ that on day 180, if nothing has been heard otherwise, I will be contacting the, regarding the new "rule".
Question: Has anyone actually called the 800 number and asking about the new rule for pending name checks after 180 and gotten a decent reply?

I only knew it as "flower", but I just looked it up and it is also used for cauliflower (whose "official" name is al-qarnabit). Other meanings for zahra are blossom, splendor and beauty.
