Thankyou. His interview was back in Sept 2019, didnt have a 2nd interview. Just resubmitted ds260 in dec and new medical in march. Probably 2-3 weeks after submitting new medical

they emailed my husband 

They asked my husband to resubmit ds260 as well, i guess they added a few new questions to the application, thats y asked to be resubmitted, now the status has changed to AP, which was showing refused all year long, the embassy asked for new medical exam to be done and asked for new visa photos... hopefully its a good sign i guess🤞🤞

Thankyou so much, well i used the leopard courier service and they received my husband’s photos

So my husband got an email from embassy stating they need new medical exam done and new photos for visa. My husband  had his medical done, the question is, SpeedEx no longer takes documents to embassy, how am i suppose to send the pics to the embassy? The medical exam results would be sent to the embassy by them, but not the photos

any help is appreciated 🙏🏻

I did already earlier in March, then the covid happened and the embassies closed. I do email them every month, last time they told me to follow up with them in 6 months, as no new visas would be issued until dec 31st, under the proclamation ☹️

no reason, just a sudden email from them to find new joint sponsor.

i looked for a stronger joint sponsor then, who made atleast double the amount i had for the joint sponsor before, hope they would approve this one, and not come with something else missing now

i assume he would have to take his medical again as its been more than a year

Original birth certificate of our child was missing

they initially approved all the documents before interview was scheduled, and didnt even talk about joint sponsor at the time of interview. 6 months later they came up with “need new joint sponsor “ theory

Hello everyone. My husband had his interview in September 2019, he was given a 221g as he was missing one document, the document was mailed the next day, they embassy kept his passport. 6 months later they emailed him to get a new joint sponsor, i managed to arrange a new joint sponsor within a week, uploaded all documents on ceac. A week earlier i opened his ceac account and saw “re-opened” against his visa application. They had added 3-4 more new questions to the visa application, i filled them and submitted the application again. Does anyone know whats going on? How long do i have to wait more??

Yeah they do review them, and they said they will get notification as soon as we upload them to Ceac

Case in (AP / Refuse) My Wife had an interview on Oct 2019 everything went well but was asked to provide one document. I mailed the documents to U.S embassy ISL Via Speedex and after 3 months of wait my case dates started updating after a week of date updates embassy emailed me and asked if i could provide them with evidence of marriage things like pictures, chats, call logs and etc. but this time embassy told me to upload documents on CEAC. 

i uploaded documents under (Civil Documents on additional Documents tab) i didnt see any other tab which i could upload the documents let me know if im wrong,  now in a week my wife's medical will expire and im hoping embassy emails me ASAP when it expires. so i can renew it and get the visa.

 

Please comment about CEAC where to upload Embassy requested documents via Email.

How long does embassy take to notify about Medical renewal or should i email embassy once it has expired?

 

I uploaded them under petitioners AOS financial documents. When the medical expires, which is 1 year after i had it done, the embassy will contact u to renew ur medical, so u dont need to worry about that for now

im asking because my wife's medical is expiring in a week and i will email embassy to let them know if they dont contact me.

I thought medical was good for one whole year, correct me if i am wrong

I dont think its a good idea to email them about medical expiration. Someone on the forum stated that the embassy contacted them to renew their medical in order to process the visa, so the embassy will contact u

Yes i sent them in mail, 2 weeks later they sent it back to me with a note stating that i need to upload them to CEAC, its been a week since the upload, fingers crossed 🤞

And my status was refused since day one..
