  1. WHY ARE YOU GUYS SO NEGATIVE WITH THAT PERSON.

LOVE DOES NOT HAVE AGE, SKIN COLOR, RELIGION, OR WHATEVER.... ALL TUNISIAN ARE NOT MUSLIMS, THERE ARE CHRISTIANS AND JEWS EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE VERY MINORITARY.

THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO GET MARRIED AND GETTING APPROVAL FROM THE GOVERNMENT IS TOTALLY A DECISION DISCRETIONARY TO THE OFFICER WHO WILL HAVE TO CONDUCT THE INTERVIEW.

THE PRESIDENT OF FRANCE IS MARRIED WITH THE MOTHER OF HIS CLASSMATE,

YOU ARE JUST MAKING JUDGMENTS AND THERE ARE VERY SUBJECTIVE.

IT IS NOT BECAUSE THAT DOES NOT WORK FOR X OR Y THAT IT WON'T WORK FOR THEM.

NOW I WILL ADVICE YOU SIR TO ASK YOUR FIANCE TO TRAVEL AGAIN AT LEAST TWO TIMES BEFORE TO FILL OUT THE FORM TO GET K1 VISA.

YOU KNOW BETTER THAN ANYBODY ELSE WHAT IS IN YOUR HEART AND IF YOU ARE SINCERE GOD WILL ASSIST YOU.

  2. Hello VisaJourney Community

I plan to go visit my country for a month and returning in the USA.

My concern is I have a misdemeanor dismissed (simple assault dismissed), I am wondering if I will not have any problem to reentry in the USA.

Please people who have a recent experience with that situation can share with me.

Thank everyone and I appreciate your contribution

Honestly, I'd rather take advice from competent attorney than blindly applying for it.  I'm not saying you'll be denied but there is always that 1% chance.

Here is why : assuming  worst case if you were denied, it'll always appear on USCIS record that you were denied.  Then future applications will require you to mention that your previous application was denied etc. Also, this will be last time you'll be dealing with USCIS - I'd rather proceed with caution.

Although, I'm positive you'll be approved since i-751 was approved considering you disclosed arrest from 2016.

    Hello Sharin

Thank you for your advice. What you said is the same thing that an attorney told me. And it is better to wait next year to apply because my chance to get approuved is very slim.

    once again

  4. good morning everyone

My history is a few years ago ( November 2016) I got arrested for a traffic altercation in a parking a lot, I was arrested and detained for 02 hours. The police gave me a sheet of paper with a court date.

I was charge for a simple assault and destruction of propriety.

After a plea deal, the charge was dropped and dismissed with a bargain to complete a 48 hours community service and to pay a fine $250.

Now, everything is in my past and I still regretted what I did because that slow down me a lot in my life. Thank God I am out of trouble and I learn my lesson.

My problem is got my ROC last December and I am hesitating to fill out for citizenship because I am still scared if I am in the safe place with USCIS even though my I 751 was granted.

I would like to get some advice from people who have been in this type situation and the approval for their citizenship.

    God bless everybody....

    Watch this case

  7. Hello everyone,

I know the waiting time is so long for us to get approval, I still believe that we are at the end. My wife is an October 2017 filers,

she is on her 13th month. To be honest it is just ridiculous the way that they handle these cases.

I would like to know if there are no one already who got approval from Vermont Center because some people said they are the fastest service for removal.

Please share experience or any news..

    Good luck

  8. very cool Ahmed, I am very glad to hear that good new. Now if you want to verify if your case is solved, you should do your background check from the FBI office located in your area. You will pay some fees to get because USCIS will do your background from FBI database. So any crimes or offenses occurred in the USA territory will show up.

For example my case is expunged by my local state but my lawyer told me that the record still be in the FBI databases.

Please keep in your mind that USCIS has all the information that they need about you already, they want just check if you are honest when you will do your interview. And last thing carry out your court disposition if you have an interview with them.

  9. After your case is pronounced dismissed. If you have 6 months probation, you should wait at end of the 6 months the judge tells you that you are discharged.

But don't forget to take your disposition case from the clerk of the court house. You will need it when you will have your interview for a naturalization.

  10. Good evening everyone,

I am entered in USA 2015 and I am a green card holder K1 through marriage for 2 years. Now it is time for me to apply my renewal card. Last year something bad happens to me. I had to fight with somebody who was treated me and I did beat him up very because he Insulted me and spitted on my me. After that incident I went back to my place and thought that incident was over.

The guy did hurt in his feeling called 911 and I was arrested, detained for 2 hours at the police and got a court date. I was charged for simple assault and destruction of propriety.

After my second hearing, my lawyer told me to accept an arraignment with the prosecutor and plead guilty then I will have 06 months on probation, 30 hours community service, $500 fine and the case will be dismissed. I did accept the deal because I understand anything relating with the Justice even though I was back home.

My lawyer told me do not worry because it is my first offense and I should just be careful in the future do not have problem with the justice.

Thanks God, I completed everything and my case is dismissed by the court.

My problem right is my renewal card and this new administration, to be honest I am very scared because I repeat that next month (October 2017) is my date to apply again.

Please If somebody was through or have an experience with this similar case, your advice will be very welcome.

    Thanks all  yours
