Yes, you can try to expedite it with a job offer letter.. it takes a while though and in no means is it 'send in paperwork today and have the EAD tomorrow' it takes a few weeks and based on your timeline, if you sent in your EAD in may, you should have had it by now.  but all you can do is get the job offer letter and show financial hardship and try.

Thank  you so much for your reply,  I am just waiting for my job letter to be given to me.  Then going to do through the process.  Not sure if to call to expedite or make an infopass.   What other documents should get?  (Sorry you may not know, but I’m not sure if I should send in bank statements, credit card statements etc)

  2. Hey there,  I need a little help! just want to confirm my question below,

    My case status: Awaiting interview

I have been offered a job, but my EAD & AP card hasn't arrived yet havant heard anything about my EAD or AP card just that my case status changed online in September to "ready to be schedule for interview".  I desperately need this job as we are in such financial problems right now and my husband salary isn't even covering anything more, very bad times!

I know I could Expedite my case under "Severe Financial Loss"

Would I be approved is my question? if what information would need to provide other than my job offer letter?

    Could they deny my Expedite?

    Thank you in advance.

  3. I doubt it, some people filing their cases get lucky with an easy process and then others can get a painfully stressful process by waiting and waiting!

They have a backlog of cases I have been told, but very normal to be waiting 2 months for a reply, they say 30-60 days!

I hope you hear back soon from them,

Wish you all the best of luck

Nothing to worry about at all. Take your passport just in case, to put your mind at ease.

I'm awaiting my AOS, AP and EAD, and have flown internally three times without any issue.

Thank you for the reply :)

If you receive your NOA1 before you travel take it with you plus your marriage certificate besides your DL and passport.
My husband was pulled out of line and questioned if he is a USC, he is not and said no and they then asked to see his papers.
He showed them the EAD/AP combo card and that of course was fine. This was a domestic flight !
There have been others who have been questioned at random. You will probably be ok as many others but just informing you not
everyone gets by with just showing a DL or state ID.

Thank you for the reply :)

  5. Hi, I am looking for some advise on this situation.  little summary of my journey I came over on a K1 Visa, married within the 90 days, applied for the following Forms I-485, I-765 and I-131 In November 2016.  I then went on to get my Social Security Number, and my Florida driving license for 1 year.  Had my Bio appointment on 23rd December 2016 then received a RFE on 2nd Feb 2017 regarding income we didn't meet the 125% so at that time we only sent my husband 2015 tax transcripts back as they asked for that in the letter also a Sponsor but at that time we didn't have a Sponsor and believe me I know myself thats when I should of got a lawyer help then!!!  So yes we then got denied on 22nd March 2017.  I did not receive my work card or parole card in the middle of all that either.

We have now hired an attorney and she did file the motion, but they rejected that because USCIS released new form I-290B 2 weeks after we sent in our motion, so they sent that back to us!   We have now refiled the whole case again with Sponsors this time, Forms I-485, I-765, I-131 and now I-130.  We are still waiting for our NOA as we still haven't heard back and we sent new package on 19th May 2017.

My question today is my husband has had a death in the family, and the funeral is in Maine 1st July I really would like to be there for support - I am aware to leave USA I need Advance Parole, but as I am wanting to travel state to state would that be allowed? I am aware in USA you can travel on Driving License, My passport is a UK passport my I-94 has expired.  My lawyer doesn't seem to know herself for sure she has told me flying on my Driver license will be fine.

I am not sure how it will all work as my green card was denied on failing to meet RFE, did receive a 30 action letter to file motion and they denied that, as they have not sent us anything yet on the new case I am just not sure!

So I wanted to know if anyone has been in my same situation or who can provide me with some answers?

    Thank you so much, Laura

  6. Your medical needs to be done 10 days prior to interview - medical last for 6months I think :)

Time frame for medical you can get appointment pretty fast call up Monday and you will probably be seen in next couple days from calling.  Also the time frame for interview you could be waiting up to 2 months for an interview but once I booked my interview I checked everyday and managed to get my interview changed earlier than I originally booked.

    Good luck!
