No husbands or wives are required, just the person who's name is on the appointment letter.
Thanks a lot!! I'll go by myself then.
Cheers

Hi people,
My hubby and I got married in Las Vegas back in 2003.
We were kinda crazy cuz we had a drive-thru wedding.
None of our friends or family were there.
We do not have any wedding photos, but we have a lot of joint documents such as
1) joint bank statement since 2003.
2) joint tax return
3) car title under both names and insurance as well
4) medical insurance
5) rental lease
6) time share purchased a few months before we got married. Both names on the deed. (total waste of money)
7) joint Costco membership cards
8) I am the beneficiary of all of his life insurances
9) trip photos and love letters before marriage
10) limited trip photos after marriage
11) utility bills
12) phone bills
13) cell phone bills
Are those sufficient?? Both our names are on the above documents!
We didn't have any wedding parties cuz we couldn't afford it at the time.
I'm in college now, and we will be renewing our vows after I graduate in 2007, and we'll have a "real" wedding for us both in Taiwan and in the US.
Any answer will be appreciated!!

I just received a letter regarding the biometric appointment, which is scheduled on the 16th of Sep. in the morning.
On the letter, it did not mention anything about my husband's name. However, I just wanna comfirm that I am the only one who needs to go, or hubby needs to schedule a leave from his work.
Thanks!!
PS I'm applying for AOS, pending at this moment. Hubby is USC and I entered US as a F-1 student.
Did anyone change their name after getting GC before becoming a USC?

I have a Chinese name, and I haven't changed it since my husband and I got married.
I am just curious if it'd make it really complicated if I change my name to an English name after getting GC before becoming a USC.
My name will be Mandie Min Rocco, and Min Wang is my Chinese name.
Any suggestion or experience will be appreciated!!
Thanks!!
