Hello I filed a K1 visa Feb 22 2017, interview on October 2017 in Dominican republic. We were told that my Fiancée required additional documents (Certificate of Juzgado de la Instrucción del Distrito Judicial del Distrito Nacional - general system query). We've went to a lawyer there and received the document and sent it. It's been several months now with no status update. First what exactly is this document and what other steps should I take?

We received the same letter. Visa was denied because the police certificate was not translated into English.

I received my NOA 2 dated 07/07/2017 NVC says they haven't received it yet. It's been 6 weeks now . What are the next steps that I should take?

Well February K-1 filers there truly is light at the end of the tunnel , after what seemed like an eternity i finally received our NOA2. So don't give up hope, because if it's meant to be it will. I know that we still have a little further to go but it's such a relief to make it over this hurdle. I haven't told my future bride yet I'm just trying to think of a creative way to tell. So once again don't give up hope. Good luck to everyone. Oh and by the way the USCIS website still have us in the recieved status.
