How odd. My cell phone messenger went off twice this morning, to say there had been an update to my case. once at 01:36, and again at 09:20. There aren't any updates though, you better believe I went and had a look. Twice!
That's weird I received a text last night at 11:57 pm and this morning at 4:43 am saying my case had been updated but I'm already done with everything. I checked to see and no change. But I believe the last updates I had on my case I never received texts for. Maybe these are for those I never received. Who knows

Just got home from Memphis (phew!) - I passed!!!! She approved my application and said oath ceremony may be 60 days out. We might share a ceremony
We stayed at the Hampton Inn on Beale Street (great location, would definitely recommend it.) Walked up to the office (10 mins) so I'd be prepared and then enjoyed a few drinks on Beale Street; great band in BB King's joint!
Appointment this morning: waited about 30 mins and then went in for interview. The field officer was awesome - we shared a few jokey comments so I felt really at ease. The questions were simple:
- What is one right or freedom from the First Amendment?
- Who is in charge of the executive branch?
- If the President can no longer serve, who becomes President?
- There are four amendments to the Constitution about who can vote. Describe one of them
- What is one reason colonists came to America?
- During the Cold War, what was the main concern of the United States?
Got them all right - she talked through my application. Asked me if I'd brought a mortgage statement. Now here's weird - my name isn't on the mortgage (we would have had to refinance and didn't want to) -yesterday while I was getting ready to leave, it was niggling at me how to show 'continuing marital union' so (literally at the last minute) I pulled out utility bills with my name on them from 2013/2014/2015/2016/2017 and joint credit card statements (one each for the same years). I gave her those and told her the utility bills show I'm still at the same address and the joint credit card statements show that I'm still spending his money... she laughed and said they would serve. I only thought to take those at the last minute and I think they saved me! I'd taken all originals of copies sent - she didn't want to see them! She asked if I held any British titles, I said no but sometimes I think I'm a princess... she laughed. She asked a couple other light things and we chatted a while. She was really nice and she made it a totally pleasant experience. I could easily see though how the officers have real latitude and as long as you've satisfied them it's a formality. If you don't then that interview would have been a whole different experience. The trick is figuring out what will satisfy them!
I feel great - I'm on a high, we went to the Hard Rock and had a beer, drove over the bridge into Arkansas for kicks, then set off for home. Let me know if you want to run through anything.
As an aside, I'd posted a photo on FB to let the folks know and an ex colleague posted to say she had her citizenship interview today in Memphis, 2 hours after mine!!!

My letter is on its way but I'm guessing I will be there too that day! Since they only do the ceremony once a month.
Yea I'm pretty sure it will be for the same day. Very nice congratulations.

I went to a local Passport Acceptance Facility (USPS Post Office). Below is a link that you can use to search for the one that is most convenient for you.
https://iafdb.travel.state.gov/
Just put in your zip code and it'll give you a list of close by facilities.
Cool. Thank you very much I appreciate your help . I'll do that. Thank you.

I chose standard processing time and it took 6 business days to receive my passport.
I sent my application on May 19 in the afternoon, didn't pay any extra fee, just $110 for the passport book and $25 for the execution fee, $135 in total.
They finished processing and sent back the passport on May 26 and I just received it today May 30.
Hi can you please tell me where you applied for your passport? I'm trying to figure out where the best place to apply is. Thank you

I'm a November filer in San Diego, had the interview on 5/3/17, and have been in line for an oath since 5/5/17, and just received notification about the oath ceremony as well.
Congratulations. I'm thinking it will be for the ceremony on 6/21. That's the next one. Will see when the letter get here.

Received an update just now:
We scheduled your oath ceremony for Receipt Number Nbcxxxxxxxx We sent a notice with the date, time, and location of your oath ceremony to the address you gave us. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by July 5, 2017
I had just finished scheduling an info pass appointment to check on my case and then a few minutes later received this update :-) I had been inline for oath since 5/4/17 and had my interview 4/17/17 in San Diego.

Thank you very much for the info. I appreciate it.

If you did request to change your name on N-400, you might get waiting for Oath ceremony longer than other people. it will be 45 days.
45 days from the interview or from inline for oath?

I think it's strange that other people have been placed in line for oath after me at the same office and they already became citizens. If I don't get another update in the next few days I guess I'll scheduled an info pass

The funny part is the I called them last week and I complained very nicely and respectfully and I guess works out on my favor.
Congratulations!! Funny thing the same happened with me. When I called them back in March a few days latter they mailed me my interview. I don't know if it had anything to do with me calling or just a coincidence. I'm thinking about calling now for my oath letter since its been a month since I had my interview. You never know it might happen twice.

Hello,
I had my citizenship interview on April 27th and passed it. It took place in Boston. It's been18 days and I haven't received any mail with Oath ceremony date yet. How was everyone else's experience? How long did you guys have to wait until the mail came in? This is so annoying! The worst part is if you go to their website it says "my interview was scheduled". Lol. I guess they don't update their website at all!
If it says "interview scheduled" it probably means your case hasn't been approved yet by the supervisor. I had my interview 4/17 and my status updated to "oath ceremony will be scheduled" on 5/4. I haven't received the next update "oath ceremony notice was mailed". No letter yet. Also, some people don't get updated and they just get the oath letter.

Oh wow! I was just scrolling down and saw that u got your update... Nice! :-) Hope your date is very soon...
Thanks I'm really relieved . The next oath ceremony here will be on the 24th. I hope they put me for that one. If not then it will probably be for the one in June. They do one per month here in San Diego.
I hope yours updates soon too. Let me know please when it does.
