    scheduled interview for July 28....2 months and half...i have no words....only anger.

    @trininurse will be long....

    Congratulations! Happy you got a date. Not fair that it has to be so far away, considering you got your CC very early this month. It seems you are the only one so far with interview date. When did you call? I called this morning but no date at the time. Is there anyone else with interview date?

    Thank you for completing the questionnaire and your update! :) Congrats on getting a CC in 8 weeks!! keep us posted regarding your interview!! :)

    Yes! 8 weeks! I am so grateful to God. Thanks so much. I pray we have so many more CCs this week. Thanks for the questionnaire too. It makes it easy to follow everyone's progress at a glance. And I found that it is so easy to complete. Good job.

  3. Hello, my name is XXXXX XXXXX U.S attorney, and I'll be happy to assist you today.

    If your man sponsoring you pays taxes jointly with his wife, then I'd recommend that he fill out an I-864, and she fill out an I-864a. It will be easier to prove necessary income levels this way.

    Because the wife has no income, if you don't want to fill out an I-864a for her, then you won't have to. However, your main sponsor is then under the burden of proving that the individual income he makes is sufficient to support you. He'll have to do this by finding old W-2s, paystubs, and other information that show his individual income, because he can no longer just show his joint return with his wife to prove income levels.

    Here's the information from the field manual.

    "If a sponsor filed a joint tax return with a spouse, but is qualifying using only his/her own individual income, the sponsor must submit evidence of that individual income. This evidence would include, for example, the sponsor’s own W-2(s), Wage and Tax Statement, and if necessary to reach the income requirement, evidence of other income reported to IRS which can be attributed to him/her, usually on Forms 1099"."

    I sincerely XXXXX XXXXX answer addresses your concerns. Please take a moment to accept my service. We experts depend on positive ratings to continue helping out, so thank you in advance for your support. (And bonuses are always appreciated!)

    My husband's interview is on June 5th.  and recently while reviewing document, I found out that we have made few mistakes in DS-260.  Does any one know what should I do at this moment?

    Mistakes were 1) His student visa got refused couple of year ago, and in DS-260 I put never refused visa before.  2) In Given name section, I only put his first name but not middle name.  (in example it saws first and middle name).

    Any help will be appreciated!

    I think he should volunteer the information at the interview before he gets asked by the consular officer (the consular officer would already have the prior visa refusal on record). He should let him know that it was an honest mistake.
