  1. As promised, this is an update:

I went to the InfoPass appointment and was advised that i could use the Visa that was stamped onto my Wife's Foreign passport, in place of the 2 year conditional green card. So for all those that lost or never got their 2 year GC and you have to complete your I-751, you can send a photo copy of the CR1 visa that was printed/stamped on your foreign passport. I have received my I-751 receipt and now everything is good. Cheers guys.

Oh and write a short paragraph explaining why you sent the Visa that was on the passport in place of the 2 year GC, and attached that letter to the front of your package, so that letter will be the first thing the immigration officer sees when they open your packaged.

I received the Receipt letter within 5 business days after sending out my I-751...so that was pretty fast.

    Selectively.

Include a copy of your I-90 filing receipt, and put the explanation part of the cover letter in bold capitals and underlined, or perhaps highlighted in pink marker if you prefer.

    Muppets, the lot of them

Yeah i included the I-90 as well as the receit with the biometric stamp, i'll see what they say at the InfoPass appointment.

Can you give more detail. When did your wife enter US ?   You were saying filed for replacement on 6/28/17. Did you lost the initial card ?

My mistake, i meant to say i filed I-90, the customer service rep at the USCIS office said i need not even filed I-90 because the two year GC expires soon, as it turns out that was bad advice, because my I-751 was rejected for not having one

  4. I filed I-90 in 6/2017, receive appointment for biometric about 2 weeks later. The two year GC expires 10/30/2017 . I filed I-751 sometimes in October. The replacement two year GC has not arrived by the time i filed I-751, and my I-751was rejected for not having one. I specifically stated that case in the cover letter of the I-751, do they not read? USCIS accepted my I-90 form, shouldnt it be in the system? I made an appointment with InfoPass , ill post here with the result, it seems like this is an extremely rare case on the forum.

  5. Hello All,

I filed I-751 to remove conditional status for my wife, but it was Rejected due to not having a photocopy of the Conditional Green Card. WE NEVER RECEIVED the conditional green card in the mail. So we filed form I-797C (6/28/17) in order to replace it, we did the biometric and everything at the USCIS office. At the time of our filing of I-751 (10/30/17) the conditional green card have not arrived. So our I-751 has been rejected with the only reason is that the conditional green card  is not attached. What do i do now? Make an infoPass and explain it to them? call the Customer Support number? Anyone went through this specfic issue before? Thanx all.

  6. Hello all,

My period to file I-751 is in 3 months, conditional GC itself expires in November 2017. I did not receive the physical card due to some reason, InfoPass appointment says the card is in the system. I-751 requires a photocopy of the front and the back of the conditional GC, how do i get around that? Reading the forum i have seen people says i can make an appointment using InfoPass and try to get a stamp on the foreign passport, and some people also says that i MUST file the I-90 for a replacement card and pay the money just so i can show a receipt of payment for a replacement card to fulfill the I-751 requirement. I have also seen people say that they lost the 2 year GC and filed a police report and that is also sufficient. Anyone have personal experience? Which method is correct? Thank you all very much.
