An update from my end: spoke to L2 officer last night (2nd time since I did my FP) and she advised that someone forgot to update my case with the FP and that's why it wasn't moving (still not in line) but that the background check is still pending; however, she also said that I should be expecting a letter within 15 business days (I'm assuming the interview letter?!) with the interview date. Sounds strange to me: if the background check is still pending, how are they in a position to send me an interview letter in 3 calendar weeks?

There are probably like 2 people in the US with my name...yet still not in line although I've already passed my anniversary date.

Unfortunately this theory seems to be holding true for everyone else but me...:-( -
Did my FP on 3/28 and still not in line...spoke to L2 officer yesterday and he told me that some of the checks haven't come through yet. Not sure what the hold-up is, my case is as straightforward as can be.

My GC Date is 5/7 and did my FP on 3/28 yet still no update...I'm an outlier I guess.

Yes, NBC; thanks for updating. I'm a bit concerned because I did my FP on 3/28 but heard nothing since. My GC date is 5/7/12 so even the theory that they put you in line 1 month prior to the anniversary date is not holding true for me...Tried calling the USCIS but they weren't helpful at all. Anyone else in a similar situation?

Please add my info to the tracker: GC date: May 7 2012, Sent: 2/27 cashed: 3/3 NOA: 3/1 FP:3/28.
Still no update since I did my FP. I applied under the 5-year rule, my local office is New York City.

You're probably right, however, if I don't receive said letter within 15 biz days they'll get another call from me and they'll need to get very creative as to why this didn't materialize...
