  1. You got my attention since you mention Burma. I read through your post and reply. So you and your wife made marriage ceremony just to satisfied your spouse's parents, but you are planning to make Utah online marriage. In my opinion, online marriage probably be acceptance with the US Embassies in other countries, but it is a bad idea for embassy in Burma since the final decision is solely base on embassy. In Myanmar, the marriage can happen in court, church, temple or mosque. All is recognized as legal. But in I-130 case, you have to have civil/authority registered number and the one who solemnized must be licensed (even though mine was not licensed, they accepted it. I think it was because of my location of the marriage took place.). There are a lot of places where you can have registered marriage certificate such as Baptist Church, Assembly of God church etc. Find the pastor who embassy recognized as licensed, there are a bout 4 of them in Yangon as I heard. The certificate will be in Burmese, but it's ok you can have notarized translations which most of the people do. You need your spouse copy of NRC along with translation, police certificate with translation, birth certificate with translation (might need letter from hospital about no record of birth by the time of visa interview since embassy don't trust most birth certificate), marriage certificate with translation, copy passport. You and your wife should go back to Myanmar and make marriage. I don't know if you can apply I-130 from out side of US or not but I wouldn't do it out side of the US. Best of luck!
  2. 1.If you have that kind of money hire an immigrant lawyer.(don't use online chatting attorneys) 2.Come visit often to US and meet your husband since even you live here you can't stay together.Arrange video chat or communication easier. Me and my wife married for five years now and we have one kid.But I only visited twice to her.We mostly communicate via social media. If I have that kind of money and job as you do, I would rather leave the country. All our journey has been a lot with frustration and emotions.Still we are waiting. The counselor officer can ruin all your work in a minute. Our situation was simple and straight forward but still we are struggling.Comparing your situation and ours and considering how we've been through, I can just say good luck to you.
  3. As I understand, the US citizen parent have to file CRBA, not you (non US citizen).Your husband need to sign DS2029 and DS 5507 in front of a notary in US.And for the passport please read the above discussion.
  4. What is your opinion on one of the member said that I do not need to sign the application (ds-2029 and ds 11)? I attached the screen shoot.
  5. Thank you so much for your information.I will email directly to consular office to confirm because it still confuse me that the section that I attached instructed just to stop to sign as I interpret and not clearly meaning to stop filling out.Big Big Big Thanks to you!
  6. So what you saying is I have to sign both ds-2029 and ds 5507 but not sign ds-11 along with sign ds-5053?And how about the ds-11 section that I attached, do I still have to fill it out? Sorry that I don't understand unless I was explain specifically, may be because I'm too worry.Thank you for any help.
  7. What confusing is that every forms have statement such as " THIS SECTION MUST BE COMPLETED AND SUBSCRIBED TO BEFORE A CONSULAR OFFICER, NOTARY PUBLIC, OR OTHER PERSON QUALIFIED TO ADMINISTER OATHS ", except form DS-3053(statement of consent) it specifically said it must be notarized in the US. Other than that those DS-2029, 5507 and 11 are confusing. And I don't know whether I have to put my information on ds-2029 because it said " the parent completing the Form DS-2029 need not provide information on the Form DS-2029 about the other parent completing the Form DS-5507. Instead, the parent completing the Form DS-2029 should check the box by the statement “Please see the accompanying Form DS-5507”. "
  8. Hi, I've been struggling to understand about filing CRBA especially the signatures part.So I am the US citizen living in the State and won't be present at the interview at consular office. So basically I have to submit, DS-2029 along with DS-5507 and for the passport DS-11 along with DS-3053.So DS-5053 (Statement of consent ) and DS-5507 will have to sign in front of notary but the question is do I have to sign DS-2029 and DS-11 (for passport) parents signature?Any help is appreciated!
  9. Hi, I submitted DS-260 for my spouse but I didn't put middle name on the given names on DS-260 for each person.I looked at online and people suggested that I should write an email to NVC or to bring up this issues at the interview. But I'm the petitioner and I could not be at the interview. So I'm planning to write a letter explaining what went wrong and to request to add the middle names. My question is (1)."Can I write a letter like that and request to add the middle names on DS-260 since my spouse should be the one who fill up and submit DS-260?Or only my spouse is allowed to ask like that?(2).Is it a problem that I didn't add the middle name on given names?Thank you in advance.
  10. Hi, At the visa interview at US consular office, do the Principal (Beneficiary) have to bring I-864 along with the scan documents that uploaded at NVC by the petitioner?
  11. Should I notarized all the bank statements, W2 and tax filing paperworks, etc also?
