APPROVED!
The USCIS immigration officer who conducted my interview today made the entire process very professional and straight forward.
Left at 7:30am from home. Arrived at 8:30am for a 8:45am interview. Rainy morning. My lawyer (also processed my AOS) was there. We were both dressed in a suit and tie.
Based on a 5 year rule only option.
Before the interview I had to do fingerprints and picture (What is the picture and fingerprint used for?) at one of the booth.
Interview started with writing in English and reading on the tablet and then the Civics test. I got the first 6 correct but don’t remember the questions.
Documents requested to show: Permanent Resident card, Driver License and Passport.
I was NOT asked to show Tax Return Transcripts and Selective Service Systemregistration although IO said most don’t register for it.
I was asked EVERY single Yes/No questions from the N-400.
My employer name and what I do there? XYZ and title.
When my mother became a USC? 2011.
How did she became a USC? Which was that my brother sponsored her.
What Visa I came into USA? B2.
When did I become a PR? 2019
The interview lasted about 15-20 minutes.
My lawyer interrupted the IO couple times because IO wanted clarification on the F11 on my PR card and said something about if I was F1 student.
Then, the best part came: IO said she was approving my application.
Next, was some signatures on the tablet. Oath info was discussed.
Case Tracker shows: Interview was scheduled still. Does anyone know when that will change?
All in all my lawyer cost overall during this entire process was worth every dime and penny.
