I have a question I got case completed today but I got a checklist coming what does this mean? Should I be worried? Please help

AOS packet question: I am filing i-864 as a sponsor for my wife and I do not have any joint sponsors. On the document cover sheet it asks for "Proof of U.S. Status". Do I need to submit a document for it? (US citizen certificate copy, passport copy, driver license)

Let me know when u get an answer I am looking to make sure I put my package together without missing anything!

I have a question I paid the iv bill today but it won't let me pay the $325 and nvc is closed apparently! What should I do?

Yes! So far I seen them sending on a Thursday and they received it Wednesday the next week! Once they have it they say wait 2 weeks for case # and so far it is looking like it is taking a full 2 weeks to get a case number I am hoping not longer but I will let you know when I have the wait time for sure figured out!

Unfortunately I received a checklist today  It is for my wife's (beneficiary) original birth certificate from India. I originally sent them "Copy of Birth Certificate" (english translation) which she had obtained from record's office in 2011 but NVC wants to see "Copy of original birth certificate" or if I don't have original birth certificate they would like secondary evidence such as school leaving certificate or affidavit, etc. 

 

My problem is that my wife has her original birth certificate (not in english) but that certificate is missing her name as she wasn't a name till few weeks later. Will I be okay sending in her original birth certificate without her name as her "Copy of birth certificate" which I already sent them has her name?? or should I send them secondary evidence along with her original birth certificate that doesn't haver her name? 

 

Will appreciate any inputs here.  

 

Have her send it in the email and print it out send English and original language as well

We have to keep praying and believing that soon this process will be over!!! At least it won't be another 200 something days we waited with Nebraska right????

I would give USCIS a call and ask if it has been sent out!

I was approved online jan 2nd but my case notification was for 12/29! Then January 11th it was sent to Nvc! It will update to sent about a week after you got approval notice!!!!

Today they sent out my application to Nvc!!! So it is not sent the day of approval!!!!

No scan date is when they receive your AOS and IV documents and put them in their system. Sometimes it takes a couple of days after they receive them in the mail.

Morning everyone how long would you wait to call Nvc after case was sent 12/29/2017? To call and check if they received your case?
