  1. Hi. So my fiance is here from the Philippines and our wedding is set for September 15th next month, and plan on sending out the application for AOS right afterwords.

We have plans to travel to Orlando, Florida for our honeymoon on September 26th and will be returning Sept. 30th. Her K1-Visa in her passport says that it expires October 1st. Will we have any issues while flying? We wont have an NOA1 from the AOS, at least I don't think we will. I'm not sure how long it takes to get some kind of notice. I just want to be sure that she will not be detained or we wont be harassed. Thank you.

You do not necessarily need bank statements, no. What you listed sounds great. You absolutely need the tax return, and you need to have met the income requirement for your household size. If not you need a cosponsor.

Well I make $27,000 before taxes annually, so I think I'm good on that part.

  3. What all do I need to send with the I-134 when I send it to my fiance for her interview?

Also I have read that I do not need bank statements, is this true?

One last thing, do I need to send her original documents or can she use copies?

As far as I know I will send:

    I-134

    Pay stubs

    Tax Return

    Employer letter verifying annual income

  4. Hi!

So my fiance and I are on the final steps to getting her visa. We were just sent a notice by the NVC that they are now sending our petition to the embassy in Manila. She has not received any packet yet, just the email that I wasn't sent.

I was just wondering what all do I need to send her? Just the Adjustment Of Status?

Will I be fine if I send my company letter stating my employment, how long I've been working, and my annual income before taxes, as well as my W2 and pay check stubs? (I have about 8 of them.)

I've been working for this company for about a year now since last June. I didn't make much last year, so it will not show on my tax return, but I make above the poverty guidelines. About $27,000

I have read that bank statements are not needed in the Philippines.

Would greatly appreciate any advice on what all I need on my part to send her and can I scan it and email it or do I need to send original by mail?

    Thanks! :)

Yes, with the current I-129F you must disclose the arrest even if you were not convicted. You should provide court documents of the arrest showing that you were not charged.

You need to get a copy of the court record saying you were released and not charged. Were you fingerprinted? If so, you are definitely in the system.

I already have the court documents for that and never went to court, was never charged with it as my "friend" confessed to it. I'm just not sure as to which boxes to check. Thank you.

  6. Ok so I sent in the I-129F and had it returned to me because the I-129F form I had used was outdated and have to fill out the updated I-129F form that they just updated a few months ago as the G-325A is no longer being used. I just have a question regarding the new I-129F form. On the old one it didn't say, but now on this one it's saying if you've EVER been arrested or convicted. Well back in 2006 I was arrested for being in the car with my minor friend at the time who had drugs in his car, so they took us both in, but he later confessed that it was his (I never did any drugs and was unaware) and they ended up letting me go. I never went to court and was never charged with this, although it's still on my record.

I'm just confused as to how to answer this question on the form or which boxes to check. I've included a picture of the section. Please help! Want to get this resubmitted asap. Thank you so much in advanced!

  7. So filling out the Fiance Letter Of Intent and was wondering which address to put down.

United States Department of Homeland Security

    U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services

<USCIS service center address>                  <------------- This is the address that I'm confused about.

I looked up USCIS service center and there's one close here in Colorado, but I'm sure that's not the one I send to.

  8. So I'll be filing the I-130 soon to petition for my fiance who is in the Philippines to come here to Denver, CO  I make about 23,000 annually so I know I'll meet the %100 poverty guidelines for $16,240, but I'm worried about when she gets here and I go to apply for the AOS that I'll not meet %125 of $20,300. Although I make over the %125 annually, I missed a few days work in March because of hospital visits and I'm afraid when I get my tax returns next year that it wont show enough made. Will this affect me at all? Would it help to get a letter from my employer stating how much I make? What should I do? I'm so worried. I don't really have anyone to ask and my mom (who is the only parent I have)  didn't really make that much last year either.

  9. Hi I'm new to the forums and had a question regarding the K1-Visa
