USCIS is usually pretty good on this, and not to be a party-pooper, but those income levels are minimums. If you're under the minimum, you can't proceed. But they will still look at the totality of the circumstances to determine the public charge concern. I'm not trying to worry you, but just making you aware that just the bare minimums doesn't guarantee success.
But in the instructions of i-864 it says that you can use assets to fill the gap. So for me it’s 100 dollars

I was hoping you would say that!!! Use the savings and the tax returns. It looks like you are fine from my eyes. I haven't gotten that far in our journey so I hope someone who has been through the AOS process will answer too.
thank you tho!

That all looks good to me. It probably won't hurt to add the savings but you already meet the minimum. I hope others chime in but in my understanding it looks good.
For AOS are you using 125% of minimum or 100%?
125% since she is not in the armed forces

Do the tax returns exceed the minimum? I would think a few years of tax returns would do the trick even if the current pay stub doesn't. What about the year to date on the pay stub?
The tax returns of 2015 and 2016 are just over the minimum. And right now 3/4 through the year she already reached a income of 19k and we still have 3 months left. But we have around 7k of savings so should i just fill out the part of assets just to make sure?

Hello, Me and my wife are filing for AOS and she just makes a 100 dollars under the poverty guideline with her annual income. With over hours she makes at least 2 k over the poverty guideline for a household of 2. But the over hours are not guaranteed even when she gets at least 6 over hours a week. Since we have savings(around 7k) could we use those as assets to fill up the gap of a 100 dollars? I read that you need 3 times of the amount that you are missing. So that would be 3 x 100 = 300 dollars.
thank you!

Feb cases updated 17-Apr: 4
Approved: 3
RFE: 0
Others: 1
Raw data here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7wWQs77fPiIUUZGNE9tMUdQRjA
PS. Going forward, I will no longer be including cases which have already been approved or withdrawn in my scan list. This will shorten my scan list as the days pass by (and more cases are approved), which in turn means a shorter scan time for me. =)
Are these cases expedited or did they finally started processing february cases?

No it's not ... That's receiving date.
Yes the 23rd is your NOA1 date, doesn't matter when you got the msg about.
It's indeed the receiving date. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Mine is the same as on the letter.

I'm super confused right now and this might be a stupid question BUT .. we received the receipt notice on January 30th and on the letter it says 'date of notice January 23rd' (petition was delivered January 19th). Is it right that NOA1 is January 23rd even though we received the letter January 30th?
In your Letter should be a number that starts with WACxxxxxx. If you fill that number in on the USCIS CASE STATUS website then it should tell you when they received your I-129f package. That is your NOA 1 date.

Hello,
Although I am joining this forum late, I sent in my K-1 application on Dec 20th thru FedEx and it was received on Dec 22nd. My case was approved on March 30th and it is being sent to the NVC. I get on VJ every day trying to find more info and what to expect. I am beyond nervous.
Congrats!!!

EAD and drivers license expire
in Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports
Posted · Edited by mauropac10
I filed for my AOS in november 2017 and i’m still waiting for the USCIS to schedule a appointment for my interview. My EAD and Drivers license will expire on december 14 2018. I filed for my renewal of my EAD on october 14. Can i keep on working or do i have to stop on december 14. I read something about a automatic extension of a 180 days when you properly file for you EAD renewal. My AOS is K1 bases btw. The Noa1 that i got for my EAD renewal didn’t say anything about a automatic extension
thanks!
