Thank you. That’s what the guy at SS said but we didn’t file for EAD. I guess will have to wait for AOS to process. I understand that it takes like a year.

SS office said they can’t change my wife’s name after marriage because the K-1 visa was expired by 2 days. We filed AOS before expiration but didn’t think the SS would have an issue.

Ok thank you she is getting a new one. Another question came up: Does she need a copy of the I-129F I filed back in February at the interview? I saw this somewhere but not in any embassy instructions.

I couldn't see where the website shows 6 months but she is trying to get a new one now just in case.

I just saw the interview email sent from embassy and it says that the cenomar must be issued within 12 months of the interview. Go figure!

Hi all, my fiance has an interview coming up and she told me that she saw in one of the videos on Youtube that you have to get a new Cenomar to bring to interview.

She got her Cenomar back in February when I filed the petition and I submitted a copy of it with my petition, does she need to get a new one again?

At long last an email came from Manila consulate that they received the NVC case and they advise scheduling interview. My question is how long after getting this letter do you have to complete the interview? Is there a deadline?

My fiancé is filling out DS-160 application and it has a question about immunization records. She is in Philippines and doesn't have the records. If you put no for answer it asks you for explanation.

Q: What to put down for explanation and is this something that gets taken care of during medical exam?

The case still has to go through visa center and be sent to consulate, then also medical exam and some sort of human trafficking class?

I got NOA2 letter a couple of days ago and it has dates valid listed 05/31 - 09/30. Does anyone know the meaning of these dates?
